<p>One thing we have to remember about the anytime goalscorer probability percentage is that it gives the <strong>odds based on the assumption the player will start</strong> the game. Therefore if you see players who are injury doubts or doubts to start the game then please don’t take this as a likelihood of their starting berth.</p>
<p><strong>Mohamed Salah</strong> of course leads the pack again at <strong>63%</strong> but as we know his starting chances are in doubt due to the <strong>AFCON</strong>. He will be back in <strong>Liverpool</strong> a few days before the <strong>Leicester</strong> <strong>City</strong> game according to <strong>Jurgen</strong> <strong>Klopp</strong> but he has <strong>played 120 mins in his last four games</strong>. I don’t think he or <strong>Sadio</strong> <strong>Mane</strong> <strong>(45%)</strong> start but of course, there is a possibility they do.</p>
<p><strong>Diogo Jota (57%)</strong> realistically will be the favourite to score out of the players who are expected to start. He has a great fixture in <strong>Leicester</strong> <strong>City</strong>. The <strong>Foxes </strong>have <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/"><strong>c</strong><strong>onceded 37 goals (16th) with an xGC of 39.0 (18th)</strong></a>. They have been ravaged with injuries this season especially in defence and still have a number of casualties in the backline.</p>
<p>Even without <strong>Sadio Mane</strong> and <strong>Mohamed</strong> <strong>Salah</strong>, <strong>Liverpool</strong> have had no problems scoring. They have scored a total of <strong>58 goals (1st) with an xG of 56.2 (1st) over the season.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Harry Kane (53%) and Ronaldo (52%)</strong> are almost neck and neck. Both with a decent fixture in <strong>Gameweek 24</strong> as they come up against <strong>Southampton (H) and Burnley (a)</strong> respectively.</p>

<p>The <strong>Saints</strong> have <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/"><strong>conceded 34 goals (14th) with an xGC of 35.4 (15th)</strong></a> so haven't been the best in defence. <strong>Spurs</strong> have scored<a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/"><strong> 26 goals (10th) with an xG of 33.7 (7th)</strong></a> and have been constantly improving under their new <strong>Italian</strong> manager.</p>
<p><strong>Tottenham</strong> will be strong favourites to win this and with <strong>Harry</strong> <strong>Kane’s</strong> record and the fact he is on penalties means he will be the most likely scorer in this game.</p>
<p><strong>Raheem</strong> <strong>Sterling</strong> and <strong>Roberto</strong> <strong>Firmino</strong> come in at a<strong> healthy 50%</strong> but both players are rotation risks so probably not the ones to bring in or captain. <strong>Phil</strong> <strong>Foden</strong> at<strong> 48%</strong> looks like a very enticing option. He has been <strong>City’s</strong> best player to date and does play in the number 9 role quite often, and his FPL returns from that position have been good (<strong>four goals and two assists).</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kevin De Bruyne</strong> at <strong>42%</strong> is also a very decent option for this Gameweek. Since his return from injury, he has <strong>four goals and two assists in his last seven starts.</strong> Although his scoring odds are below a lot of attackers his assist threat is high and he is on a lot of set-pieces. He has an <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/"><strong>xA of 5.40 (5<sup>th</sup> overall)</strong></a> despite only starting 12 games all season. Plus <strong>City</strong> have a great <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">fixture</a> in <strong>Brentford</strong> at home.</p>

<p><strong>Michail Antonio (45%)</strong> also has a kind <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">fixture</a> against <strong>Watford</strong>. The <strong>Hornets</strong> are well and truly in the relegation fight as they sit in 19th place in the league. They have <strong>conceded 40 goals (18th) with an xGC of 36.4 (16th).</strong></p>
<p><strong>West Ham United</strong> have scored <strong>41 goals (4th) with an xG of 37.2 (4th)</strong> which puts them as the best attacking side after <strong>Liverpool</strong>, <strong>Manchester</strong> <strong>City</strong> and <strong>Chelsea</strong>.</p>

<h3><strong>Gameweek 24 Anytime Scorer Odds - Best Captain </strong></h3>
<p>The best captaincy candidate from the attackers according to the odds this week is <strong>Diogo</strong> <strong>Jota</strong>. Although his days as an FPL asset may well be numbered with the signing of <strong>Luis</strong> <strong>Diaz</strong>, he should be fine this week. With <strong>Sadio</strong> <strong>Mane</strong> and <strong>Mohamed</strong> <strong>Salah</strong> both involved in the <strong>AFCON</strong> final on Sunday I really don’t see both starting. Therefore for this week <strong>Jota</strong> should be pretty nailed to be in the starting 11.</p>
<p>He is at <strong>57% to score at anytime</strong> and plays a very obliging <strong>Leicester</strong> defence. <strong>Kane</strong> and <strong>Ronaldo</strong> are not far behind but with both being forwards, <strong>Jota</strong> edges them on probability and the fact he <strong>gets an extra point for a goal and a clean sheet.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kevin De Bruyne</strong> is the best captain overall though in my opinion. He has a great home <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">fixture</a> and has both <strong>goal and assist threat.</strong></p>
