<h3>🥇 Nico O&#8217;Reilly &#8211; 17 points</h3>
<p>The Manchester City defender has been used in midfield instead of left-back in recent games and FPL managers really saw the benefit of the change against Newcastle.</p>
<p>The 20-year-old &#8211; originally a midfielder before Pep Guardiola converted him into a left-back &#8211; scored both of City&#8217;s goals in the 2-1 victory. The Englishman now has three goals in two league games.</p>
<p>While his brace has made him the top early transfer target for Gameweek 28, with more than 270,000 managers buying him, the desire to bring him in might have been even stronger if it wasn&#8217;t for him likely being without a fixture in <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-blank-double-gameweek-guide">Blank Gameweek 31</a>.</p>

<h3>🥈 Dean Henderson &#8211; 16 points</h3>
<p>Crystal Palace recorded a much-needed win against Wolves, just their second league victory in 12, but they were fortunate to do so.</p>
<p>The Eagles had Henderson to thank for saving a penalty, while Rob Edwards&#8217; relegation candidates posted a total expected goals (xG) of 1.68.</p>
<p>Seven saves, including the penalty, helped boost Henderson&#8217;s total to 16 points. He collected three bonus points in addition to his two save points.</p>

<h3>🥉 Eberechi Eze &#8211; 14 points</h3>
<p>Arsenal defeated Spurs 1-4, with two goals apiece from Eze and <strong>Viktor Gyokeres</strong>.</p>
<p>It was a disappointing debut for Spurs&#8217; interim boss Igor Tudor, whose side &#8211; like many to face the Gunners this season &#8211; failed to create 1.0 xG despite scoring through <strong>Randal Kolo Muani</strong>.</p>
<p>Eze&#8217;s minutes have been patchy, making him an unreliable FPL pick, but it&#8217;s now two league starts in succession for the former Palace midfielder.</p>
<p>But while he&#8217;s played 70 and 77 minutes in those starts, the availability of <strong>Martin Odegaard </strong>is likely to have played a part in the uptick in gametime. The Norwegian played 13 minutes of the derby and recorded an assist.</p>

<h3>Tolu penalty miss gifts Palace clean sheet</h3>
<p>Wolves striker <strong>Tolu Arokodare </strong>was the man on the other end of Henderson&#8217;s penalty save.</p>
<p>He also missed another big chance to score, coming away with nothing from his 1.17 xG &#8211; bad news for those who don&#8217;t own the likes of Henderson and <strong>Daniel Munoz</strong>, who came away with a fortunate clean sheet.</p>
<p>Tolu&#8217;s xG was only bettered by <strong>Joao Pedro</strong>, who did grab a goal from his 1.22 xG.</p>

<h3>Chelsea concede late</h3>
<p>Fofana&#8217;s red card will have frustrated many.</p>
<p><strong>Trevoh Chalobah </strong>and <strong>Robert Sanchez </strong>are in 23% and 15% of sides respectively and the 10 men Blues went on to concede to Burnley in the 93rd minute. There was a noticeable uptick in momentum for the Clarets after Fofana walked.</p>

<p>Here are a few things you may have missed in Gameweek 27:</p>
<ul>
<li>No player had more than five shots on goal, with three on target the peak</li>
<li>Jarrod Bowen racked up a league-leading expected assists (xA) of 0.85, with five key passes, but the Hammers failed to convert anything</li>
<li>Elliot Anderson is now the top-scoring player for defensive contributions (40 points)</li>
<li>Florian Wirtz was in Liverpool&#8217;s starting lineup until he picked up an injury in the warm-up. Arne Slot said the German &#8216;felt his back&#8217; but did not think it was a serious issue</li>
<li>Marcus Tavernier returned from injury, playing 10 minutes off the bench</li>
<li>Kevin Schade was benched after returning from suspension, coming on for the second half</li>
<li>Nathan Collins was benched again for Brentford and a mistake after coming on gifted away a goal</li>
<li>Benjamin Sesko scored his sixth goal in seven appearances for Manchester United, despite being restricted to bench appearances under Michael Carrick</li>
<li>Bukayo Saka hobbled off for Arsenal but there was no comment from Mikel Arteta post-match</li>
<li>Nordi Mukiele picked up a calf problem and went off in the first half of Sunderland&#8217;s loss to Fulham</li>
