<p>Gyokeres was replaced at half-time of Arsenal&#8217;s win at Burnley in Gameweek 10, with Mikel Arteta reporting that the striker had a muscle &#8216;niggle&#8217;.</p>
<p>Arteta spoke to reporters again on Monday before the Gunners&#8217; Champions League tie against Slavia Prague.</p>
<p>Ruling him as &#8216;definitely unavailable&#8217; for the European fixture, Arteta said:</p>
<blockquote><p>“I am concerned because he hasn’t had many muscular issues and he had to leave the pitch.</p>
<p>“He was feeling something and that’s obviously never a good sign. Especially for a player that is very, very explosive, so we are digging in a little bit more to understand where we are in terms of the injury and we will announce it when we know more.”</p></blockquote>

<p>That decision may well have been made easier following Gyokeres&#8217;s injury.</p>
<p>There is a case to be patient with the Swedish striker given it looks to be a short-term issue.</p>

<p>His expected goals (xG) of 7.91 suggests he has slightly under-performed so far and with Palace starting the season as one of the best attacking sides, there should be plenty more to come from the Frenchman.</p>
<p>That xG is more than three ahead of what Gyokeres has posted &#8211; and the £1.1m saved could be invested in midfield or defence.</p>

<p>Pedro was the most-sold player ahead of Gameweek 10, leaving about 1.5m teams.</p>
<p>There was plenty of justification for getting rid of the Chelsea forward, who had not had a shot on target since Gameweek 3.</p>
<p>But the Brazilian was on better form at the weekend. He scored, had five shots on target and earned nine FPL points.</p>
<p>He now faces Wolves (H), who sacked manager Vitor Pereira after their 10th league game without a win.</p>
<p>Chelsea top the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">Hub&#8217;s fixture ticker</a> up to Gameweek 16, so their players are options for a while yet.</p>
<p>But recent sellers may be reluctant to go back to Pedro so soon, while Enzo Maresca said he is managing ongoing &#8216;problems&#8217; and is not fully fit.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s difficult to know which Pedro will turn up in Gameweek 11 &#8211; but if you already own Mateta, he is one to consider for the next two fixtures.</p>

<p>Burnley (H) and Leeds (H) in Gameweek 13 and 16 have to be balanced against Arsenal (A) and Spurs (A) in Gameweek 14 and 15.</p>
<p>The rest of your squad may therefore help you to decide whether Thiago is a good bet &#8211; but the chance of a spot-kick arguably makes him playable most weeks.</p>

<p>Downgrading Gyokeres to a striker you&#8217;ll bench more often than not is our final recommendation.</p>
<p><strong>Eli Junior Kroupi </strong>is the pick of the cheap replacements, having started the last three league games for Bournemouth.</p>
<p>The 19-year-old has been covering for <strong>Evanilson</strong>, who is now back from injury.</p>
<p>Relying on him as a regular starter is not advised but if you want someone to sit on your bench who has a decent chance of minutes, Kroupi looks to be your man.</p>
<p>If budget is your sole focus, <strong>Marc Guiu </strong>of Chelsea is the cheapest at £4.2m and could still play on occasion.</p>
<p><strong>Chido Obi </strong>is among the players at £4.3m for those tripled up on the Blues for their favourable fixture run.</p>
<p>If you still have your Bench Boost, it&#8217;s worth noting these budget players may not be reliable for returns and a player like Thiago may be more suitable.</p>
