<p>A warm-up injury to <strong>Bukayo Saka </strong>was among the talking points in a weekend where his replacement ended up top scoring in Fantasy Premier League (FPL).</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 24 haulers</h2>
<h3>🥇Noni Madueke and Habib Diarra &#8211; 14 points</h3>
<p>The Arsenal winger had two reasons to be thankful this weekend.</p>
<p>He replaced <strong>Bukayo Saka </strong>in the starting 11 after his teammate was injured in the warm-up against Leeds.</p>
<p>And he needed the dubious goals panel to overturn a <strong>Karl Darlow </strong>own-goal and credit him with his first league goal for the Gunners.</p>
<p>Madueke&#8217;s corner was palmed in by the Leeds goalkeeper &#8211; but the goal was awarded given the ball was on target.</p>
<p>After updates, the Englishman had the most points of the weekend &#8211; and he was joined by Sunderland midfielder Diarra on Monday.</p>
<p>Diarra initially looked like he&#8217;d scored twice, however his first goal went down as a Burnley own-goal.</p>

<h3>🥈 Alex Scott, Casemiro, Hugo Ekitike &#8211; 13 points</h3>
<p>It was a three-way tie at the top from the weekend&#8217;s games, with no player delivering a mega haul.</p>
<p>Bournemouth midfielder Scott scored the second of the Cherries&#8217; two goals against Wolves in the 91st minute, adding to his defensive contribution points and pushing him up to maximum bonus.</p>
<p>Manchester United thought they had a penalty against Fulham when <strong>Matheus Cunha </strong>was brought down, only for VAR to award a free-kick on the edge of the box.</p>
<p>Initially bad news for popular captain <strong>Bruno Fernandes</strong>, who was about to take the spot-kick, disappointment quickly faded as the midfielder swung in a cross to be headed home by <strong>Casemiro</strong>.</p>
<p>Casemiro also grabbed an assist for United&#8217;s second goal, scored by Cunha.</p>
<p>Ekitike meanwhile scored two goals in a two-minute spell to help Liverpool to a 4-1 win over Newcastle at Anfield. He was the third most sold player ahead of the deadline, leaving nearly 500,000 teams.</p>

<h3>🥉 Florian Wirtz, Pascal Gross, Dominic Solanke &#8211; 12 points</h3>
<p>Wirtz is really finding his feat in the Premier League now, with a goal and assist against Newcastle taking him to seven goal involvements for the season.</p>
<p>The link-up play between the German and Ekitike is blossoming. The duo have combined for six goals in all competitions, according to Opta.</p>
<p>Another of the 12 point scorers was Gross, who scored his first goal since returning to Brighton. His goal was not enough to beat Everton though, who silenced the Amex Stadium with a 97th minute equaliser.</p>
<p>Solanke was credited with both goals in Spurs&#8217; 2-2 draw with Manchester City, although the first was awarded in controversial circumstances. <strong>Marc Guehi </strong>was initially chalked down for an own-goal.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 24 howlers</h2>
<h3>Kevin Schade, Neco Williams and Jean-Clair Todibo</h3>
<p>This trio received red cards in Gameweek 24 &#8211; all in laughable circumstances.</p>
<p>Schade kicked out at <strong>Matty Cash </strong>after getting tangled on the ground with the Aston Villa defender.</p>
<p>Full-back Williams turned into a goalkeeper, inexplicably producing a diving save to keep out a header against Crystal Palace.</p>
<p>And West Ham&#8217;s Todibo let frustrations boil over after Chelsea had come back from 0-2 down to make it 3-2, grabbing <strong>Joao Pedro </strong>by the throat in a multi-player scuffle.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 24 heartbreakers</h2>
<h3>Bukayo Saka</h3>
<p>The £10.0m winger will be assessed after picking up an issue in the warm-up that prevented him taking part in the Leeds fixture.</p>
<p>Saka pulled up during a drill and left the field with a physio. Mikel Arteta said:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;He had a little niggle and he wasn&#8217;t comfortable to start the game, so we made a decision straight away and now we are going to have to do some tests tomorrow and see how he is.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>FPL managers will get an indication as to the severity of the injury before the next deadline, with the Gunners facing Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg on Tuesday.</p>
<p>Speaking to the media on Monday, Arteta had the following update:</p>
<blockquote><p>“We have to wait. Today he was better but we have to wait and see how he responds and then make the decision. It doesn’t look like something too serious. Whether he will be available tomorrow or at the weekend, we will see.”</p></blockquote>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 24 hidden highlights</h2>
<p>Here are a few things you may have missed in Gameweek 24:</p>

<li><strong>Ismaila Sarr </strong>was on penalty duties for Crystal Palace in the absence of <strong>Jean-Philippe Mateta</strong></li>
<li><strong>Tammy Abraham </strong>and <strong>Douglas Luiz </strong>were straight into Villa&#8217;s starting 11 upon their returns to the club, with the latter on corners</li>
<li>Ekitike had more shots than any other player (six), with the best non-penalty expected goals (npxG) of 1.06</li>
<li>Fernandes registered his seventh double-digit haul of the season and was captained by about 1.1m managers</li>
<li><strong>Jarrad Branthwaite </strong>returned to Everton&#8217;s starting 11, playing at full-back with <strong>Michael Keane </strong>also starting &#8211; although this may have been because <strong>Vitalii Mykolenko </strong>was ruled out</li>
<li><strong>Bruno Guimaraes </strong>was left out of Newcastle&#8217;s squad amid an ankle problem &#8211; despite making the bench in midweek</li>
<li><strong>Nordi Mukiele </strong>assisted for the third week running and according to FPL is the best-value player in the game with 24.7 points per million</li>
