<h3>🥇 Joao Pedro &#8211; 19 points</h3>
<p>Pedro was a popular transfer out ahead of a slightly tougher looking run for Chelsea, but any lingering doubts about the Brazilian&#8217;s FPL potential were put to bed with a hat trick against Aston Villa.</p>
<p>The forward was the focal point of the action for Liam Rosenior&#8217;s side, and benefited from some all-round good Chelsea play by cropping up in the right positions to finish off the Blues&#8217; attacking moves.</p>
<p>Clearly Pedro has the attacking instincts and finishing quality to lead the line ahead of their other current options, and at just £7.7m it&#8217;s hard to ignore the value he&#8217;s offering despite a mixed bag of fixtures for Chelsea.</p>

<p>A dreadful run of form for Spurs was extended once again in Gameweek 29, as London rivals Crystal Palace came away with a 3-1 victory following an early red card for <strong>Micky van de Ven </strong>who dragged down <strong>Ismaila Sarr</strong> inside the box.</p>
<p>The Dutch defender&#8217;s sending off set the tone for Spurs, with Sarr&#8217;s brace leaving Igor Tudor&#8217;s side winless in 11 Premier League games, after the Senegal international&#8217;s earlier effort had been ruled out for offside</p>
<p>With Palace hosting Leeds in Gameweek 30, Sarr will be a far more popular transfer in than fellow 15-point man <strong>James Tarkowski</strong> &#8211; Everton sit bottom of the Hub <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a> with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City all on the horizon.</p>

<p>Arsenal were back to familiar habits against Brighton, with another clean sheet in the bank for Mikel Arteta&#8217;s side.</p>
<p><strong>Jurrien Timber </strong>earned himself a somewhat fortunate 13-pointer, with his pass to <strong>Bukayo Saka </strong>providing the assist before the England man&#8217;s long-range drive hit the back of the net.</p>
<p>The Dutchman also picked up defensive contribution points, but this hasn&#8217;t been a reliable source of returns for Timber so far this campaign &#8211; Gameweek 29 was just the third time this season he has hit the required threshold compared to nine for Gabriel.</p>

<h3>Van de Ven red leaves Spurs winless in 11 games</h3>
<p>A first-half <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-yellow-cards-and-suspensions">red card</a> for van de Ven left Spurs in a vulnerable position during Thursday&#8217;s clash with Crystal Palace, although it&#8217;s not as if troubling signs weren&#8217;t already present for Igor Tudor&#8217;s side.</p>
<p>Having now shipped 2+ goals in nine straight gameweeks, should Spurs now be a team FPL managers look to target alongside the likes of Burnley?</p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t get any easier for the relegation-threatened Lilywhites, who travel to Anfield next as Liverpool assets look to make up for their disappointing display at Wolves.</p>

<h3>Salah the outlier among Liverpool blankers</h3>
<p>Gameweek 29 was one of the few times this season that <strong>Mohamed Salah </strong>has justified the extra expenditure over his Liverpool teammates, with popular transfers-in <strong>Hugo Ekitike </strong>and <strong>Virgil van Dijk </strong>drawing blank against Wolves.</p>
<p>A defeat to the team bottom of the table will sting for Arne Slot, and the Reds will be expected to produce a response in what could be ideal fixture to get back on track, as struggling Spurs visit Anfield.</p>
<p>That fixture and those to follow likely make Liverpool assets a hold for now, but it&#8217;s worth keeping an eye on their patchy form with plenty of strong alternatives emerging.</p>

<p>Pedro&#8217;s hat trick will leave a sour taste for the managers who jumped ship ahead of Gameweek 29, with <strong>Erling Haaland </strong>the only forward with more sales heading into the gameweek.</p>
<p>With Gameweek 28&#8217;s tricky trip to the Emirates out of the way, there are few barrier</p>
<p>Managers holding Villa assets have a decision to make meanwhile, with <strong>Morgan Rogers </strong>now without a return in four but facing some decent upcoming fixtures.</p>
<p>Rogers joined Pedro and <strong>Erling Haaland </strong>on the most-sold list heading into Gameweek 29, and while those who sold Pedro will likely be regretting the move, Haaland sellers will be feeling more confident in their decision following his blank.</p>

<p>Despite making a return to the Manchester City team in Gameweek 29, there were no attacking returns to be found for Haaland against Nottingham Forest.</p>
<p>Those who were expecting their vice-captain to step in may feel particularly frustrated, as several of the popular picks for the vice-captaincy found their way to points, including <strong>Bruno Fernandes</strong> and <strong>Antoine Semenyo</strong>.</p>
