<p>There are seven formations available in the World Cup game: 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-5-1, 3-4-3, 5-4-1 or 5-3-2.</p>
<h2>How do transfers work in Telegraph Fantasy Football World Cup 2022?</h2>
<p>You have limited transfers in the build-up to the World Cup, which kicks off with Qatar v Ecuador at 16:00 on Sunday, November 20.</p>
<p>From there, you will have up to 50 transfers to use.</p>
<p>During the group-stage rounds, you can make eight transfers per round. In the knockouts, this increases to ten per round.</p>
<p>There will also be a &#8216;transfer amnesty&#8217; &#8211; like a Wildcard in FPL or Overhaul in Sky &#8211; in between the conclusion of the group stages and before the start of the knockout rounds.</p>
<p>This is shortly after December 3 at 00:00 until 15:00 the same day. In this period, you can again make unlimited transfers without affecting your 50 transfer limit.</p>
<p>The rules state: &#8220;Round transfer allocations will reset at midnight after the last fixture in the previous round is complete. Example: your transfer allocation for Round 2 will become available shortly after November 25, 2022, 00:00.&#8221;</p>

<p>Goalkeepers and defenders only can score the following:</p>
