            <p>Manchester United have had a slow start to the Premier League season, with their defeat at home to Brighton leaving them sat thirteenth in the table.</p>
<p><strong>Marcus Rashford (£8.9m) </strong>and <strong>Bruno Fernandes (£8.4m) </strong>are the two most popular United outfield players in the game, owned by 33.5% and 20.2% of managers respectively, but both are among the most transferred out players this week.</p>
<p><strong>Andre Onana (£5.0m) </strong>is also highly owned at 22.6%, and he is the most sold FPL goalkeeper ahead of Gameweek 6 by an absolute mile.</p>

<h2>Assessing United's form</h2>
<p>First, let's look at United's form from a team perspective.</p>
<h3>Team form: Attacking stats</h3>
<p>United have scored just six goals across their opening five games, which doesn't bode well for their attacking assets going forward, especially given that they have faced several slack defences in their opening fixtures, including Nottingham Forest and Wolves.</p>
<p>Erik Ten Hag's side are also ranked in the bottom half of the table for Expected Goals (xG) so far.</p>

<p>Manchester United have conceded 10 goals so far this season - only Wolves (11) and Burnley (12) have conceded more.</p>
<p>The underlying data isn't too favourable either, with United sandwiched in between Burnley and Luton for Expected Goals Conceded (xGC).</p>

<h3>Marcus Rashford: United's main man in FPL?</h3>
<p>Despite United's rocky start, <strong>Marcus Rashford (£8.9m) </strong>has taken the most shots in the box (18) of any FPL midfielder.</p>
<p>Rashford is six clear of the closest competition in <strong>Dejan Kulusevski</strong> <strong>(£7.0m)</strong>, and the England man continues to take up positions inside the opposition's penalty area even when he is playing on the left wing.</p>
<p>He has a goal and two assists so far, which is respectable enough given the quality of United's performances.</p>

<h3><strong>Bruno Fernandes: Time to sell?</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Bruno Fernandes (£8.4m)</strong> has blanked in four out of five Premier League games this season.</p>
<p>His only goal came against the ten men of Nottingham Forest, with Bruno slotting a penalty away following the red card - although he did grab an assist in that game too.</p>
<p>Even that penalty was won by Rashford however, and it begins to look hard to justify picking Bruno over the England man, who looks far more likely to be a regular goalscorer from open play.</p>
<p>Bruno's average position in the Brighton game was certainly worrying, with the Portugal international only just inside the opposition half, so unlike Rashford he is relying quite heavily on set-pieces to produce regular points.</p>
<p>The question then becomes whether you can justify owning both, or, if you only own Fernandes, whether you should sell him.</p>
<p>Right now, there are probably better options in midfield than Fernandes, but he's worth holding for this week at least, as Manchester United travel to a Burnley side who have conceded the most goals in the league.</p>

<h3>Andre Onana: Fortunate to have any returns so far?</h3>
<p>Manchester United's new goalkeeper <strong>Andre Onana (£5.0m)</strong> has one clean sheet so far, but it came in contentious circumstances as Wolves were denied a late penalty, for a foul by Onana.</p>
<p>Otherwise, United have conceded 2+ goals in every game, so Onana hasn't really come close to returns.</p>
<p>His Expected Points total so far is one of the worst in the league, with the Cameroonian sitting 15th amongst all goalkeepers.</p>
<p>Before making any decision on United's defensive assets however, it's important to assess the upcoming fixtures from a defensive point of view, as well as an attacking one.</p>
