<p>Portugal forward Joao Felix has joined Chelsea on loan &#8211; but what are his FPL and wider fantasy football prospects?</p>
<p class="" data-reactid=".1kz4k19ate4.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-4"><span data-reactid=".1kz4k19ate4.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-4.0">Felix became the fourth most expensive player in football history </span><span data-reactid=".1kz4k19ate4.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-4.3">when he was signed for £113m as a 19-year-old in 2019.</span></p>
<p>But is the price tag justified? We take a look at his history, what he could offer as a fantasy asset, his style of play, and some key statistics.</p>

<h2>Joao Felix: The history</h2>
<p>Felix spent the early years of his career at FC Porto, but due to a lack of game time, he moved to rivals Benfica in 2015, aged just 15.</p>
<p>Until the age of 18, he played predominantly for Benfica B, for whom he scored 7 goals in 30 appearances.</p>
<p>His form earned him a move to the first team, where he hugely impressed, helping Benfica win the league title and scoring 15 goals in just 26 appearances.</p>
<p>In 2019, Felix scored a hat-trick in a 4–2 UEFA Europa League win over Eintracht Frankfurt, which made him the youngest ever player (aged 19 years and 152 days) to score a hat-trick in the competition.</p>
<p>The following Summer, Felix signed a seven-year contract with Atletico Madrid, for a transfer fee of £113 million. This was the second highest fee ever paid for a teenager, after Kylian Mbappe.</p>
<p>Since then, Felix has racked up 25 goals and 14 assists in 96 appearances for the Spanish side, as well as four goals and three assists for his national team, Portugal.</p>
<p>However, following the deterioration of his relationship with Atletico manager Diego Simeone due to lack of playing opportunities, Felix has made clear his wish to leave the club.</p>

<h2>Joao Felix: Style of play</h2>
<p>Felix is capable of playing in several offensive positions, due to his versatile skill set.</p>
<p>He has been deployed as a striker and a winger, although his favoured position is as an attacking midfielder.</p>
<p>He is an intelligent and technically gifted player, who also possesses an eye for goal, and carries an aerial threat too.</p>
<p>As well as his creativity and finishing, his dribbling and precise passing make him an excellent all round threat.</p>

<h2>Joao Felix: FPL, Sky, Dream Team and TFF prospects</h2>
<p>Joao Felix has been listed as a £7.5m forward in FPL, so he could be a bargain once he returns from suspension, after being <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-gameweek-19-review-chelsea-fulham">sent off on his Chelsea debut.</a></p>

<p>Felix went straight into the starting XI against Fulham due to Chelsea&#8217;s injury crisis, and he impressed on the wing before his dismissal.</p>
<p>The Blues have recently lost Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic to injuries, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been dealing with a back issue, so Graham Potter will want Felix back as quickly as possible.</p>
<p>Positionally, he could be utilised as a striker, a playmaker, or a winger in Chelsea&#8217;s system.</p>
<p>Felix has averaged 0.9 shots on target per game in La Liga this season according to <a href="https://www.whoscored.com/Players/149738/Show/Gustavo-Scarpa">WhoScored</a>, which may attract the interest of Sky Sports Fantasy Football managers, who get bonus points for two and three shots on target per game.</p>
<p>His average WhoScored rating of 6.72 is unlikely to be of much interest for Dream Team managers.</p>
