Mikel Arteta reveals the return of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was NOT pre-planned following his early release from the Gabon squad. "We had to assess him, see how he is and make decisions. We have a lot of players who have been through different game issues. We have to see them today (Friday)." The Arsenal boss will also make a late call on Thomas Partey. "He couldn't play for the national team. He really tried to do that and pushed for that one, but it wasn't enough. Again that's something we have to assess because until today, he hasn't done enough." Sead Kolasinac sustained a "significant" injury to his ankle playing for Bosnia, and he continues to be assessed while starting his rehabilitation. Granit Xhaka is making "good progress" and is hoping to be back in full training by January.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (undisclosed) - Mikel Arteta confirms his early return from international duty was not pre-planned. Late fitness test.
Thomas Partey (tight groin) - A decision will be made on Friday, although at the time of the press conference, the midfielder had not done enough to be considered.
Folarin Balogun (illness) - England U21 manager Lee Carsley confirms the forward was suffering from stomach cramps.

Ruled Out

Granit Xhaka (MCL knee) - The midfielder is targeting a return in early 2022.
Sead Kolasinac (ankle) - Confirmation on the clubs' website that he suffered a "significant" injury playing for Bosnia. No timeline.

Aston Villa Predicted lineup - FPL Gameweek 12

Press Conference

Leon Bailey and Emiliano Martinez returned unscathed following their international exploits during the Premier League hiatus. The availability of Marvellous Nakamba remains unclear after he picked up a muscular problem playing for Zimbabwe, causing him to miss the qualifier against Ethiopia. Danny Ings could return following his enforced absence due to COVID-19, but new manager Steven Gerrard may face Brighton without Morgan Sanson and Douglas Luiz, who has missed the last two. Trezeguet is not expected to play again this year. Ezri Konsa is in contention after his ban. There is no word on the fitness of Bertrand Traore, who has been limited to only four substitute appearances this season.

Danny Ings (COVID) - Should be back in contention after missing the last two games.
Douglas Luiz (hamstring) - Awaiting a further update. Expected to be close.
Marvellous Nakamba (groin) - Missed his countries qualifier with Ethiopia. Hopefully, just a precautionary measure.
Morgan Sanson (undisclosed) - Nothing official, but local media reports suggest the Frenchman could miss out.

Ruled Out

Trezeguet (knee) - Suffered an ACL rupture against Liverpool in 2020/21 and may not play again this year.
Bertrand Traore (thigh) - Looks to have suffered a setback in training. No word on his potential return.

Shandon Baptiste "could" be in the squad on Saturday; Thomas Frank will make a late call on the midfielder who has been sidelined for almost seven weeks. Mathias Jensen is back from Denmark, and he has taken part in team training. Zanka might be involved while Yoane Wissa is getting closer with a 50-50 chance of making the 18. Forgotten man Julian Jeanvier has started working with the group - not full contact - but he "will be out for a while" as he continues his recovery from the ACL knee injury he suffered 13 months ago.

Yoane Wissa (ankle) - Very close. Late fitness test.
Mathias Jensen (COVID-19) - Back from Denmark following a period of self-isolation. He has trained with the squad.
Mathias Jorgensen (muscle) - Thomas Frank will decide on Friday.
Shandon Baptiste (shoulder) - Involved in full training and could be named in the squad.

Ruled Out

Joshua Dasilva (hip) - A rare and complicated injury that needs to be managed. No timeline currently. Long-term.
Mads Sorensen (knee) - Medial ligament damage and flagged as a longer-term injury by Thomas Frank.
David Raya (knee) - Damaged his posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) against Leicester. Around 4-5 months out.
Kristoffer Ajer (hamstring) - A recurrence of his recent injury, and Thomas Frank believes the setback could keep him out until early 2022.

Brighton and Hove Albion Predicted lineup - FPL Gameweek 12

Press Conference

Enock Mwepu won't be available after picking up an injury against Newcastle. "He's not too bad, but it's come too soon. We're hopeful for Leeds, but he has a slight muscle (adductor and hamstring) strain." Aaron Connolly is over his heel injury, and Graham Potter confirms. "[He] has been training, and he's available." Jason Steele will be handed his first Premier League start for the club as Robert Sanchez is serving a one-game ban. "Jason trains really well every day, at a high level and always does well when he comes in. The improvement since I've been here is incredible. As a player, he's been fantastic in how he's stepped up." Dan Burn could also return, but Danny Welbeck and Steven Alzate are out long-term.

Dan Burn (knee) - Imaging revealed no serious damage. Inflammation following an awkward landing. Passed fit.
Aaron Connolly (heel) - Back in full training after recovering from a minor problem.

Steven Alzate (ankle) - Surgery. Could miss up to three months following surgery.
Danny Welbeck (hamstring) - Had surgery in early October, ruling the striker out for the rest of the year.
Enock Mwepu (muscle) - Missed the recent internationals after suffering hamstring and adductor issues. Hoping to return in GW12.

Robert Sanchez - Serving a one-match ban after denying Callum Wilson a goalscoring opportunity.

Press Conference

Overall, the Clarets are looking pretty healthy ahead of Saturdays' game with Palace. Ashley Barnes is carrying a "little niggle", but other than that, Sean Dyche's side are pretty much OK. Aaron Lennon is available again after illness, and Dale Stephens is now training outside with the group. "He's getting there," although he lacks sharpness after several months out. "He had another reserve game; he's not there yet, but he's getting back to real fitness." Maxwell Cornet was due to return after Thursdays' press conference, but there are no known issues.

Aaron Lennon (illness) - Should be fine for the visit of Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Romelu Lukaku will not make the squad on Saturday, although Thomas Tuchel is hopeful that he can re-join the group 24 hours later, which should give him a chance to feature in the Champions League. Mateo Kovacic is also out, and his return is likely to be delayed a little longer. Mason Mount is fine, but Timo Werner will be a late call after returning to team training on Thursday. "We will see as we have another [session]. Maybe he can make the squad or the bench." Christian Pulisic feels OK, but Tuchel will decide on Thiago Silva, who has been representing Brazil. "He has some travel in his body and time difference. I am confident." There should be no problems with Kai Havertz, who injured himself colliding with advertising hoardings versus Burnley. "He played the second match [for Germany] and is in a good mindset. If nothing happens in training, he is ready to go."

Mason Mount (dental) - Returned to full training following surgery to remove his wisdom teeth.
Timo Werner (hamstring) - Re-joined the group in training on Thursday. Pushing for a place in the squad.
Marcos Alonso (ankle) - Injured in training. Nothing serious. Should be fine.
Thiago Silva (late return) - Tuchel is confident that he will be fine after representing Brazil.

Ruled Out

Romelu Lukaku (ankle) - High ankle sprain. Could be back with the squad on Sunday ahead of the Champions League tie against Juventus.
Mateo Kovacic (hamstring) - Injured in training and ruled out for "some weeks." No immediate return insight.

Crystal Palace Predicted lineup - FPL Gameweek 12

Press Conference

Joachim Andersen, who missed out for Denmark during the break, has worked with the team. "He will be part of the group that travels to Burnley." Eberechi Eze will also make his long-awaited first-team comeback. "He played two games [for the U23s] and has been training. He will be part of the group." However, Patrick Vieira did stress that Eze will need time to get back to his best. "He is a really talented player; there is no doubt about it, but we still need time to train, and we have to be patient with him." The rumours regarding James McArthur are true... although his hamstring injury is not as bad as initially feared. The midfielder will be sidelined "for the next few weeks." Nathan Ferguson is taking part in full sessions, and Vieira confirms he will continue to step up his recovery. There are no further injury concerns, which suggests Will Hughes should be in contention.

Eberechi Eze (Fitness) - Patrick Vieira confirms he will be a part of the travelling squad.
Will Hughes (back) - Returned to training ahead of GW11 but wasn't risked by Vieira.
Joachim Anderson (unspecified) - An undisclosed problem that prevented the centre-back from joining the national team. Passed fit.

Ruled Out

Nathan Ferguson (Achilles) - Joined the squad in training over the break and will continue to step up his recovery.
James McArthur (hamstring) - Ruled out for the next few weeks.

"They are not ready yet," replied Rafa Benitez when asked for an update on his injured players. Dominic Calvert-Lewin could still be around 3-4 weeks, but all being well, Abdoulaye Doucouré will be back soon. "I think in one week or two weeks maximum, he can be fine if we don't have problems." Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes are out of the trip to The Etihad, while Mason Holgate begins a three-match ban. There was no update offered on Tom Davies despite the midfielder being on crutches with his right knee in a protective brace.

Yerry Mina (hamstring) - Returned to the training pitches seven days. May have suffered a setback. Ruled out.

Leeds United Predicted lineup - FPL Gameweek 12

Press Conference

Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford remain on the sidelines. "They are not available," Marcelo Bielsa confirmed. "The evolution is controlled on a daily basis. When my responses are brief, it is because I cannot offer any certainty, so I prefer not to say." Junior Firpo is "evolving", but the Spaniard needs minutes, which is likely to come from the under-23s initially. Jamie Shackleton is in a similar situation - towards the end of his recovery. Robin Koch is the furthest of those currently sidelined, but there is still hope that he can play again this year. Joe Gelhardt may play for the development side on Friday.

Firpo (muscle) - Healthy but needs minutes which may come with the under-23s.
Jamie Shackleton (undisclosed) - In a similar situation to Firpo. Approaching the end of his recovery.
Luke Ayling (knee) - The evolution of his injury will be assessed on a daily basis.

Leicester City Predicted lineup - FPL Gameweek 12

Press Conference

"Most of the guys have come back [from international duty] OK," revealed Brendan Rodgers. "We had the issue with Youri (Tielemans) before he left, so that puts him out for a few weeks." The midfielder is likely to return next month, potentially mid-December, but definitely "before Christmas." Marc Albrighton is training, and James Justin has looked "really good", but it's too early for him. "We want to get him minutes with the U23s, and we have a plan in place. He's physically very strong; he's a real athlete. We just want to make sure he's ready before he comes in."
