Thomas Partey is fine; his minutes were managed midweek. Kieran Tierney is OK after reporting suffering from cramp last weekend, which saw him rested in the cup.

A thigh injury rules Bailey out until next month. "Leon has a strain which is likely to keep him out until after the break. We're hopeful that he will be available for Wolves [GW8], but we will need to assess him nearer the time and see how he progresses," said Dean Smith. Morgan Sanson is also set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a setback. "He just felt a twinge in his hamstring. We don't believe it's going to be a bad one; he actually carried on for 2-3 minutes after, which proves to me it's not a bad one." John McGinn has been cleared to return after being replaced against Everton as a precaution following a head injury. However, Axel Tuanzebe must sit this one out due to the terms of his loan agreement. "He's a wonderful character, and his game is getting better and better. He'll be a big loss, but we have to decide whether to go to a back four or stick with a five." No word on Matty Targett, who has an abductor problem.

Thomas Frank reveals the Bees have no fresh injuries. "Everyone is fit and available," except for long-term absentees Mads Sorensen and Joshua Dasilva. "There will be ten of the same starters [from Wolves], and then I need to find the last one." But who will miss out is anybody's guess. There was a "minor issue" for Rico Henry at Molineux while Shandon Baptiste was sent off after receiving two yellow cards, although his ban was served in the cup.

Adam Webster (hamstring) is not expected to return until after the international break, but Graham Potter is more confident on a few others ahead of Monday nights' game. Alexis Mac Allister is just a "bit sore" after the Carabao Cup, and he is hoping to return to training along with Yves Bissouma. Enock Mwepu "is probably doubtful, but we'll see" after he was withdrawn from the XI on Wednesday after feeling discomfort during the warm-up. "He felt his groin a little bit. It probably was one of those we could have taken a chance on, but we weren't sure about one or two others it didn't feel like it was worth the risk." Lamptey will be managed following his first appearance in 10 months. "Tariq is coming back from a long injury; we have to be careful." On Wednesday, Gross also returned for the Seagulls after recovering from COVID-19: "Pascal played 45 last night and had no problems. He's an experienced guy, he's a model professional," said Potter. "He'll recover now and will be in the squad against Palace."

Kevin Long (Achilles) is getting back to full fitness but won't be ready just yet. Connor Roberts has suffered a minor setback - thigh injury - and he has some way to go following groin surgery. "There are a few knocks with other players but nothing too major." Josh Brownhill is expected to be in contention after missing out in the Carabao Cup because of a dead leg. "He has got a chance," confirmed Sean Dyche. "He is on the grass with us today." Maxwel Cornet continues to impress: "You are looking to add players who can affect the group in a positive way. He's had a good start and has handled things very well. He seems to be enjoying the group and the training. We want him to not only perform but rub off on others."
