<p>A satisfying opening gameweek with the well-discussed 'template' delivering to most expectations.</p>
<p>The Big '50/50' of <strong>Harry Kane (£11.4m) </strong>versus <strong>Erling Haaland (£11.6m</strong>) went the way of the Manchester City man.</p>
<p>The surprising variance between the two heavyweight strikers in the initial fixtures has since dominated the transfer market behaviour.</p>
<p>There are already a few attractive options emerging to tempt fantasy managers away from their initial set-ups.</p>
<p>A change in formation looks likely in the medium term as three-man front-lines come back into fashion.</p>
<p>I made a late switch back to a 5-3-2 formation (from 4-4-2) - something I am already beginning to feel restricted by!</p>
