<h2>ShePlays WSL Round 17 review</h2>
Here&#8217;s a quick rundown of the last round&#8217;s results:

<h2>ShePlays WSL Round 17 team of the round</h2>
The Team of the Round for ShePlays Fantasy Round 17 featured players from six different Women’s Super League teams. 
Manchester City’s Jess Park led the scoring, recording a brace and an assist in City’s 3-1 victory over Manchester United. 
Park’s teammate Alanna Kennedy also made the TOTR, after being a late call-up to the starting 11 when Laia Aleixandri was ruled out in the warm-up.

<h2>Split Round 18</h2>
Due to Arsenal and Chelsea playing in the FA WSL League Cup Final (Conti Cup) on Sunday, their Round 18 matches have been postponed.
 ShePlays postponement policy keeps these fixtures in Round 18 as originally planned, and the points will be allocated once the rounds are played.

<h2>Potential Picks for Round 18</h2>
Leila Ouahabi (£300,000) &#8211; Manchester City
Fixture: Liverpool (A)
Manchester City defender Leila Ouahabi has been a regular starter in defence for the last 10 league matches. 
Ouahabi has earned 9 points per match this season, which is better value per £ when compared to her teammate Laia Aleixandri. 
Compared to other fullbacks, Ouahabi rates in the 97th percentile for successful take-ons, which has led to her creating 18 chances in her 13 matches so far this season. 
With Manchester CIty’s current form, Ouahabi will be a good pick for the upcoming round, but also for the run toward the end of the season.
Manchester City face Liverpool away this round. In the reverse fixture earlier in the season, City walked away as 5-1 victors which included a Khadija Shaw hat-trick.

Rachel Daly (£800,000) &#8211; Aston Villa
Fixture: Leicester City (H)
It’s fair to say that Rachel Daly and Aston Villa have underperformed this season compared to last. 
However, Aston Villa have won every single time they have faced Leicester City with Daly scoring 4 goals and 1 assist in her 3 appearances. She also scored the lone goal in the 1-0 reverse fixture earlier in the season. 
Daly currently sits 7th overall in the WSL on shots and has an average of 3 shots per 90 minutes. 
Despite the lull in form, Daly is a talented goalscorer, and it&#8217;s less of an if but when will her goals return. 
It&#8217;s important to remember she was the golden boot winner last season with 22 goals. 
Aston Villa will play Leicester City this round, who are currently 9th in the WSL, but a win could take the Foxes up to 7th place and send Villa down to 9th.

Hannah Blundell (£450,000) &#8211; Manchester United
Fixture: Everton (H)
It was a rough Round 17 for Hannah Blundell and Manchester United, but they will be looking to bounce back against Everton this weekend. 
Although a defender, Blundell’s strength this season has been her attacking prowess. Her passing completion sits at 85%, and she has averaged 66 passes per match this season, which means she is averaging nearly 3 attack points per match on passes alone. 
Blundell has also created 27 chances, provided 2 assists ,and scored 1 goal. 
Defensively, Blundell is part of a strong Manchester United defence backed up by England No. 1 Mary Earps. 
Thus far, Manchester United have kept 6 clean sheets, including one in a 5-0 win over Everton earlier in the season.

Frida Maanum (£600,000) &#8211; Arsenal
Fixture: Bristol City (H)
Arsenal will be without midfielder Lia Walti for the rest of the season, so in steps Frida Maanum. 
The Norwegian international has struggled to find minutes this season with the Gunners having been a regular fixture in the starting line-up last season. 
The return of Kim Little and rise of Victoria Pelova has seen Maanum’s role this season largely limited to substitute appearances. 
Last season, Maanum was the second highest scoring midfielder in ShePlays Fantasy earning 240 points, just 1 point behind her compatriot Guro Reiten. 
Although she will be replacing Walti who is a defensive midfielder, Maanum will play higher up the pitch, with Kim Little and Victoria Pelova dropping back. 
Arsenal faced Bristol City in Round 4 and came away 2-1 victors, with a brace from Katie McCabe, who may be a good pick this round too.

Niamh Charles (£500,000) &#8211; Chelsea
Fixture: Tottenham (A)
If you are looking to bet on a Chelsea player this round, Niamh Charles is the way to go. 
She is the only player to start all 17 WSL matches this season, and until this week had also played in all of Chelsea’s UWCL fixtures. 
It&#8217;s hard to argue that Charles isn’t the best fullback and possibly defender in the WSL due to her ability on both sides. 
In attack, Charles has provided 4 assists (top amongst defenders), attempted 41 crosses, and averaged 53 passes per match. I
n defence, her skill lies in intercepts (22), clearances (31) and aerial duels (33) won ranking in the top 2 for Chelsea for each statistic. 
Chelsea have played Tottenham twice this season, on the opening day of the WSL and in the Conti Cup quarter-final. 
Chelsea won both matches 2-1 and 3-1, respectively. In the WSL fixture, Charles assisted both goals, and scored 14 ShePlays points.

Arsenal v Bristol City
Arsenal v Bristol City will be played before the start of Round 19, but after the international break.
During the international break, notable fixtures include the first rounds of UEFA Women’s Euros Qualifying and the SheBelieves Cup in the USA.
Australia will only play one match in the international break, against Mexico in Texas.
&nbsp;
 Tottenham v Chelsea 
Tottenham v Chelsea will be played before the final round of the WSL on Saturday, 18 May and after the FA Cup Final on Sunday, 12 May in which both teams could face each other.
Chelsea still have up to 11 matches left in the season compared to Tottenham’s 6 or 7.
If Chelsea qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final, it will be played on Saturday 25 May.
Manchester City and Chelsea are currently tied on points, and only separated by 2 goals. If City keep winning, Chelsea will not be able to rest players for the match.
