<h2>ShePlays WSL Round 2 team of the week</h2>
ShePlays WSL Fantasy Round 2 was an excellent round for Leicester, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur players, who make up the majority of our team of the round. 
For the first time in a while, defenders were more valuable than forwards, resulting in a 5-3-2 formation instead of the usual 4-3-3. 
Eveliina Summanen was the top scorer of the round with 19 points and was also joined in the squad by two of her Finnish teammates, Emma Koivisto and Olga Ahtinen. 
Overall, this team would have scored 179 points and only cost £2,925,000.

<h3>Lena Petermann (£200,000) &#8211; Leicester City</h3>
Fixture: Manchester United (A)
Petermann has helped springboard relative newcomers Leicester to the top of the WSL with wins against Bristol City and Everton. 
Signing with the Foxes over the summer, the German forward is worthy of the number 9 shirt and is the joint-top scorer in ShePlays WSL Fantasy with 28 points. 
With two goals and an assist to her name, she should be considered by ShePlays managers as a value pick up front. 
During her time at Montpellier, Petermann recorded an impressive 25 goals and 15 assists in 48 league matches. 
Next up for Leicester in the league is an away trip to Leigh Sports Village to take on Manchester United, which on paper will be their greatest test yet. 
However, with a crucial Champions League match midweek away at PSG, the Red Devils may be looking at player management this weekend.  
Petermann was a second-half substitute midweek in Leicester’s WSL Cup match against Liverpool, which the Foxes won 2-1. Keen to stamp her name as part of the WSL regulars, we expect Petermann to be back leading the line at the weekend.
Currently, Petermann is selected by 3% of teams heading into Round 3, so she could be the key differential you need to bolster your squad!
<h3>Jenna Clark (£150,000) &#8211; Liverpool</h3>
Fixture: Everton (H)
Clark has featured throughout Liverpool’s two league games, being part of a defence that has kept two clean sheets in wins against Arsenal and Aston Villa. 
Manager Matt Beard has opted for a solid back three to start the season, with Clark on the right.
Beard only signed the Scottish national from Glasgow City this summer but she has quickly settled in among the ranks, helping to reduce the work of goalkeeper Rachel Laws. 
She has finished each game with the most tackles (three) and has recorded 14 clearances.
Clark’s grind at the back has been rewarded with a league-leading nine defence points to date and, as mentioned in our initial ShePlays WSL Fantasy Tips article, defence and attack points are critical for a successful season. 
Next up for Liverpool in the league is the Merseyside Derby. With an Anfield home crowd, a third clean sheet could be on the cards against a winless Everton.
Clark is selected by 11% of teams heading into Round 3 up already 4% since opening day.

<h3>Eveliina Summanen (£250,000) &#8211; Spurs</h3>
Fixture: Brighton &amp; Hove Albion (A)
Player of the round last time out, Summanen has started the season flying. 
She managed a goal and assist to help Spurs to a 3-1 victory over Bristol City and she has also been doing a lot of work during the matches, earning attack and defence points each match (13 total). 
Spurs travel to Brighton this weekend. On paper, the clash should be close, so potentially there are a large number of points on offer for the hardworking midfielder.
Summanen is outperforming her previous Fantasy WSL form and has already scored more than 20% of her total from last season. 
The Finnish international is only selected by 6% of teams heading into Round 3.
<h3>Guro Reiten (£800,000) &#8211; Chelsea</h3>
Fixture: West Ham (H)
Reiten is the best premium pick of the season so far, scoring an impressive 26 points. 
In a chaotic match against top-of-the-table rivals Manchester City, Reiten scored in the 96th minute to ensure the Blue’s headed home with a point. Perhaps more impressively, she avoided a yellow card. 
The Norwegian winger led the league in assists last season and has created 15 chances already this season. 
In the absence of Sam Kerr, Reiten has been the experienced head leading the frontline with youngsters Mia Fishel and Lauren James. 
Round 3 sees Chelsea face West Ham at their homeground Kingsmeadow. West Ham are without their leading goalscorer last season Dagny Brynjarsdottir, who is on maternity leave. 
The Irons also were late winners this week in their WSL Cup match against Championship side Charlton Athletic.
Reiten is currently the fifth most popular £800,000 player behind Rachel Daly, Kerr, Alessia Russo, and Khadija Shaw, with only 15% ownership.

<h3>Laia Aleixandri (£400,000) &#8211; Manchester City</h3>
Fixture: Bristol City (H)
Aleixandri is the joint-top scorer and highest-scoring defender so far in ShePlays WSL Fantasy with 28 points. 
Aleixandri’s versatility to play both full-back and centre-back will be critical for Manchester City this weekend with both Leila Ouahabi and Alex Greenwood out with red card suspensions. 
A graduate of Barcelona’s La Masia, Aleixandri is able to adjust her style of play depending on the opponent. This has been encapsulated by how she has accumulated points in the opening two matches. 
Against West Ham, Aleixandri recorded two assists, seven attack points and only one defence point. Conversely, against the much more difficult opponent Chelsea, she recorded five defence points and no attack points. 
She also would have earned clean sheet points against Chelsea, if it weren’t for the late Reiten goal.
Manchester City face newly promoted Bristol City at home this weekend. Bristol City are winless so far in the WSL and have let in seven goals against Leicester and Spurs. 
The Robbins also lost on penalties to current Championship leaders Southampton mid-week in the WSL Cup.
