Plenty of FPL managers will already be aware of Brighton&#8217;s favourable upcoming fixture run.

Danny Welbeck has emerged as the most sought-after Brighton player in FPL, and his popularity is well justified. 
The Englishman is currently experiencing a remarkable resurgence in his career, exceeding expectations. 
He stands out as Brighton’s top scorer with six goals, alongside two assists, showcasing his dual threat as both a finisher and a playmaker.
In terms of ICT (influence, creativity, threat) ratings, only Erling Haaland, Matheus Cunha, and Nicolas Jackson outperform Welbeck. But they all come with a higher price tag.
 While priced at just £7m, Cunha presents a similarly enticing schedule of upcoming fixtures and is the most in-form forward.
 In contrast, Welbeck sits 18th in the current form rankings with just one attacking return in his last three Premier League games. 
A couple of rounds ago, this would have undoubtedly been considered a definitive &#8216;sign&#8217;. But considering his current form, pricing, and the next entry in our list, it may be prudent to avoid and explore alternative options.

The majority of Welbeck&#8217;s scoring occurred during a period when Joao Pedro was unavailable due to injury, missing six matches for Brighton this season.
 Pedro had kicked off the 2024-25 season impressively, scoring in two of Brighton&#8217;s first three fixtures. Since his return, he has displayed exceptional form, contributing both goals and assists in victories against Manchester City and Bournemouth. 
In his most recent appearance, Pedro started his first match since gameweek three, playing just behind Welbeck, and it is anticipated that he will maintain this role for the foreseeable future. 
As a more budget-friendly option (with less than 15% ownership) compared to Welbeck, Pedro has demonstrated his capability to perform at a similar level. 
He also has an increased likelihood of being involved in creating chances, as evidenced by his impact in Brighton&#8217;s last two matches. This seems like a no-brainer. Sign.

Since making a significant impact two seasons ago, Kaoru Mitoma has faced challenges in recapturing his impressive form during the 2022-23 season, which endeared him to FPL managers. 
His exceptional performances on the wing led to an impressive tally of seven goals and six assists across 33 appearances. But the following season was marred by injuries, limiting him to just three goals and four assists. 
This season, Mitoma has two goals and two assists in his first 12 games, but the contributions have been inconsistent.
 He&#8217;s only scored or assisted in four games, and more reliable, cost-effective options are available for a potential fourth or fifth midfield slot. So this is one to avoid.

Brighton have kept three clean sheets so far this season, indicating that the primary need for their defenders may be focused on attacking returns. 
Lewis Dunk has historically been a solid option in this regard, scoring at least one goal in each of his previous seven Premier League seasons, while also providing assists in four. 
But he has not scored, created or earned any bonus points this season, having only made eight appearances. 
Dunk has missed Brighton&#8217;s past four league games due to injury, although he is close to returning. Given the uncertainty surrounding his availability and Brighton&#8217;s defensive vulnerabilities, this makes the decision to avoid him an easy one.
