<p>The data above provides us a quick view of who hit the bonus tiers for <strong>Burnley </strong>so far this season and as we can see it will be a fairly short preview!</p>
<p>As you can see, only two players have scored over seven bonus points this season and the obvious pick to cover the single gameday looks to be <strong>Nick Pope £6.9m, </strong>with the potential of clean sheets and save points. <strong>Dwight McNeil £7.7m </strong>is the only other player to hit double figures for bonus but his overall <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a> don&#8217;t really justify a similar price to other more consistent assets.</p>
<p><strong>Burnley </strong>have only had one person hit passing bonus this season (<strong>Ashley Westwood) </strong>so definitely not something to rely on with them.</p>
<p>With <strong>Chris Wood </strong>moving to Newcastle, there have only been 12 goals scored by the remaining playing squad this season and half of those have been by <strong>Maxwell Cornet £7.7m. </strong>As a pure punt maybe for just the first two games I can see myself going for him.</p>

<p>Above is a list of players that have either fallen five passes short of the passing bonus tier, or one tackle short of tackle bonus tier.</p>
<p>As alluded to earlier, no <strong>Burnley</strong> players have been close to hitting passing tier (other than <strong>Ashley Westwood) </strong>so the only real bonus available is the tackle bonus. <strong>Dwight McNeil £7.7m</strong> has scored 12 tackle points this season and is one away from a further eight points.</p>

<h2>Best Value Options &#8211; Sky Fantasy Football Overhaul</h2>

<p>I have adapted the above table from a data download again from <a href="https://www.ffstuff.co.uk/">FF Stuff</a> to show us the <strong>best value players in the Sky Fantasy game</strong>, which could help us if we are looking to beef up our team with lots of premium assets.</p>
<p>I have split out the final two columns to show the best value over the season as well as the previous six weeks or so to give us a better oversight of the &#8216;in form&#8217; options. I would consider anyone around the 0.9 mark worthy of strong consideration.</p>
<p>As I suspect will be the case with most teams in the league, the goalkeeper is near the top of the value with <strong>Nick Pope </strong>being the only asset who has got over 0.9 either since December or over the season. <strong>Maxwel Cornet </strong>is joint top for value over the season hence my willingness to take a punt on him.</p>

<h2>Fixture Analysis &#8211; Sky Fantasy Football Overhaul</h2>

<p>The fixture chart above from <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/ian-parrins-sky-transfer-toolkit/">Ian&#8217;s Sky Fixture Planner</a> shows the fixtures currently pencilled in up to the end of March, it also shows the <strong>rearranged games</strong> still remaining for each team.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also worth bearing in mind that fixtures on the weekend of the 18th March are likely to change due to the FA Cup involvement.</p>
<p>Burnley traditionally are a team you avoid in Sky Fantasy Football but the allure of a <strong>single game day and so many catch up games</strong> does turn the head.</p>
<p>And I think this is probably the <strong>biggest headache of the whole Overhaul</strong>: do you go with an asset or not? Breaking it down, if you are backing a player purely for the extra games then you&#8217;re only realistic long term option is <strong>Nick Pope </strong>as he will get consistent bonus points.</p>
<p>However, compared to other goalkeepers, <strong>Hugo Lloris</strong> only has two fewer games and you would imagine is more assured of clean sheets. It would be no surprise if he outscored Pope over the remainder of the season.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re looking for someone to purely to cover the first captaincy, I feel it&#8217;s fine to go for an impact option and that for me has to be <strong>Maxwel Cornet. </strong>He looks the <strong>most dangerous attacking asset for Burnley</strong> so for a high ceiling he is the pick. He tops the <strong>xG and shots on target charts</strong> for the season and has only played 614 minutes compared to 1500 for most of the others.</p>
<p>UPDATE</p>
<p><strong>Burnley</strong> have had an additional fixture dropped at the end of February against <strong>Tottenham</strong> which just increases the volume of matches for one of their assets.</p>

<p>Burnley would ordinarily be an avoid in this format but purely to cover the single game day, I like the look of <strong>Maxwel Cornet </strong>given we will see the teams and his ceiling is the highest.</p>
<p>With the additional game dropping it does make <strong>Nick Pope </strong>an even more enticing option, one which I may now start with but looking to come off him prior to the <strong>Arsenal</strong> v <strong>Wolves</strong> single game day on the 24th Feb.</p>
