<p>The data above provides us a quick view of who hit the bonus tiers for <strong>Man City </strong>so far this season and as we can see over the season, they are the best option when it comes to bonus points.</p>
<p>The top performer so far is <strong>Joao Cancelo</strong> who has <strong>69 bonus points over the season</strong> as mentioned previously he also has the <strong>most shots on target for a defender in the league</strong> (15). It&#8217;s actually only three behind <strong>Raheem Sterling </strong>who tops the stat for City. He also has the most assists for the Cityzens.</p>
<p>Sterling has actually scored the most goals and had the most big chances. For those looking for a punt not based around bonus points, he would be my play.</p>
<p>Effectively any other Man City defender is also a great play. Given his passing bonus, assured minutes and the £1.5m saving, <strong>Aymeric Laporte gets my vote</strong>. At the start of the season it was up in the air over who would partner <strong>Ruben Dias, </strong>so Laporte was seen as a bit of a 50/50 decision. However he has started <strong>19 of the 23 games</strong>, only one less than Dias himself. Since the beginning of December, he has scored <strong>more bonus points than any other defender</strong>.</p>
<p>The other go to pick in the <strong>Man City </strong>team is <strong>Rodri </strong>who, like the defenders, is pretty much assured passing bonus each game but who can also chip in with tackles and the odd goal.</p>
<p>The only question mark over loading your team with City assets seems to be the number of league games they have remaining this season compared to other clubs.</p>

<p>Above is a list of players that have either fallen five passes short of passing bonus tier, or one tackle short of tackle bonus tier.</p>
<p>As we can see even given how often <strong>Man City </strong>hit passing and tackles bonus, there are still 40 occasions when it could have been better and amazingly 9 of those was <strong>Joao Cancelo </strong>and 10 were <strong>Bernardo Silva! </strong>Which just further strengthens the claims of the flying Portuguese full back.</p>

<p>I have adapted the above table from a data download again from <a href="https://www.ffstuff.co.uk/">FF Stuff</a> to show us the best value players in the game, which could help us if we are looking to beef up our team with lots of premium assets.</p>
<p>I have split out the final two columns to show the best value over the season as well as the previous six weeks or so to give us a better oversight of the &#8216;in form&#8217; options. I would consider anyone around the 0.9 PPGPM mark worthy of strong consideration.</p>
<p>The table confirms all the above and puts them at the top of the value charts for the whole league, it also showcases how valuable <strong>John Stones</strong> and<strong> Oleksandr Zinchenko </strong>could be great value towards the back end of the season if Pep starts rotating his starting line up if the League is won early.</p>

<h2>Fixture Analysis &#8211; Sky Fantasy Football Overhaul</h2>

<p>The fixture chart above from <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/ian-parrins-sky-transfer-toolkit/">Ian&#8217;s Sky Fixture Planner</a> shows the fixtures currently pencilled in up to the end of March. It also shows the rearranged games still remaining for each team.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also worth bearing in mind that fixtures on the weekend of the 18th March are likely to change due to the FA Cup involvement.</p>
<p><strong>No single game day coverage is needed</strong> and they have the fewest games to play over the remainder of the season but on the flip side they will score more bonus points over the remainder of the season.</p>
<p>If you have a lot of transfers in hand you could look to their first two games vs <strong>Brentford</strong> and <strong>Norwich </strong>as some of the best in the league, so you could go heavy on them to start.  You could even start with a couple of <strong>Burnley </strong>assets for their first two fixtures (including the single game day) and then move to City assets for an effective 3-0.</p>
<p>Or you could just decide to pick a couple of players and stick with them. We know City are fixture proof, after all.</p>
<p>You can also look after the two easy opening games and pivot to a host of teams who have four games compared to the two of City before the 6th March.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: left">Sky Fantasy Football Overhaul Summary</h2>
<p>My current thinking is definitely starting <strong>Joao Cancelo. </strong>I may double him up with Laporte, or I may decide to punt on a Burnley asset to cover the single game day before switching to my second asset, but I think <strong>two City players is definitely the way to go</strong>.</p>
<p>I think the key is to <strong>make sure you are flexible</strong>. Games can just drop in anywhere and also the <strong>FA Cup quarter finals</strong> will cause <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-blank-double-gameweek-guide-2021-22/"><strong>blanks</strong></a> in mid March which need working around.</p>
