<p>The data above provides us a quick view of <strong>who has hit the bonus tiers for</strong> <strong>Man Utd.</strong></p>
<p>When researching the bonus points for Man Utd, it was unsurprising to see <strong>David De Gea </strong>top both the season and recent bonus points by some distance.</p>
<p>A bit more of a surprise were the players who sit second and third: <strong>Scott McTominay</strong> and <strong>Fred </strong>(McFred). <strong>Fred </strong>over the season sits second with the majority of his points coming from tackle bonus.</p>
<p><strong>Scott McTominay </strong>is third and is one of only 11 players who have hit bonus in all four different bonus elements. The issue with both is the security of starts always being a worry. At their prices, there are better options in the league. They&#8217;ve rarely hit passing bonus since Rangnick has taken charge too.</p>
<p>In terms of general <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a>, the two premium assets are proving their worth. Both assets are £11.8m. <strong>Bruno Fernandes </strong>has made the most key passes for the team (57) &#8211; only behind Trent Alexander-Arnold in the league. <strong>Cristiano Ronaldo</strong> has had the most shots on target, most big chances and an xG double that of any other United asset.</p>

<p>Above is a list of players that have either fallen five passes short of passing bonus tier, or one tackle short of tackle bonus tier.</p>
<p>As we can see, <strong>Aaron Wan-Bissaka</strong> has missed out the most (five times over the two bonuses) and <strong>Diogo Dalot</strong> missed tackles four times. However, neither of these is 100% assured of starting and if you are going to go for a defensive asset the keeper is the easy option.  No other options come close.</p>

<h2>Best Value Options &#8211; Sky Fantasy Football Overhaul</h2>

<p>I have adapted the above table from a data download again from <a href="https://www.ffstuff.co.uk/">FF Stuff</a> to show us the best value players in the game, which could help us if we are looking to beef up our team with lots of premium assets.</p>
<p>I have split out the final two columns to show the best value over the season as well as the previous six weeks or so to give us a better oversight of the &#8216;in form&#8217; options. I would consider anyone around the 0.9 PPGPM mark worthy of strong consideration.</p>
<p>In terms of value, aside from <strong>David De Gea</strong> and <strong>Fred</strong> recently, no one scored too highly.</p>
<p>Since December the two full backs often overlooked under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have been getting game time and do look good value but as mentioned, they rarely hit passing and you have a goalkeeper in the same price bracket who is more assured of points and gets more for a clean sheet.</p>
<p>Also for the £6.5m &#8211; £7.5m bracket defensively you have players such as <strong>Marc Guehi</strong> and<strong> Adam Webster</strong> who look more assured of passing and have more games to capitalise on.</p>
<p><strong>Cristiano Ronaldo</strong> and<strong> Bruno Fernandes </strong>have both scored around 100 points this season however score poorly on value just because of the premium price tag, however with so many enablers (Gallagher, Webster etc) available perhaps perceived value is less of a necessity.</p>

<h2>Fixture Analysis &#8211; Sky Fantasy Football Overhaul</h2>

<p>The fixture chart above from <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/ian-parrins-sky-transfer-toolkit/">Ian&#8217;s Sky Fixture Planner</a> shows the fixtures currently pencilled in up to the end of March, it also shows the rearranged games still remaining for each team.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also worth bearing in mind that fixtures on the weekend of the 18th March are likely to change due to the FA Cup involvement.</p>
<p><strong>Man Utd</strong> have an early singe game day. Traditionally we would be looking at <strong>David</strong> <strong>de Gea</strong> or <strong>Cristiano Ronaldo</strong> as the best captaincy, however against <strong>Brighton</strong> I would sit quite easily with a <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/sky-fantasy-football-second-overhaul-2022-brighton-analysis/"><strong>Brighton</strong></a> defender as my captain.</p>
<p>Their first five fixtures, however, (especially in an attacking sense) are decent. They have <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/sky-fantasy-football-second-overhaul-2022-burnley-analysis/"><strong>Burnley</strong></a>, <strong>Southampton, Brighton, <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/sky-fantasy-football-second-overhaul-2022-leeds-analysis/">Leeds</a> and Watford</strong> first up, with one single game day and another with only two games in which you would probably want a United asset as captain.</p>
<p><strong>So I think Cristiano Ronaldo will be a very popular pick at Overhaul. </strong>A popular tactic will then be the switch to <strong>Harry Kane </strong>on the 7th March to get an effective 7 for 4 over Kane before getting the captaincy on Tottenham&#8217;s single game day.</p>
<p>Personally, I feel the goalkeeper situation is one of the most intriguing at Overhaul given single game days, fixture gains and rearranged games dropping anywhere. And for that reason I think <strong>David de Gea is an avoid</strong>.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: left">Sky Fantasy Football Overhaul Summary</h2>
<p>My main pick currently would be <strong>Cristiano Ronaldo </strong>just as he is the main man. Any goals in the first five games are likely to come from him and the later transfer to a Tottenham asset works well.</p>
<p>The growing punt I want to take is to <strong>double them up in attack with Bruno Fernandes.</strong> I think the budget is workable and will be a real differential if you are in a position of needing to chase. I feel there are big games to be made early whilst others may sit and hold transfers for later double game weeks (FPL talk) which actually may not prove as fruitful as potential swings now.</p>
