During the first international break of the season, the Hub team launched a draft league on the <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/introducing-sleeper-a-beginners-guide-to-the-game/">Sleeper app</a>.
The team has been highly engaged in this format, with the competition hotting up after eight rounds of action.

<h3>1. Rich</h3>
Draft debutant Rich has maintained his place at the top of the league, although he&#8217;s seen a dip in form, with just one win and three losses in this period.
Star Man: Rich picked up Brentford midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard on a waiver ahead of Gameweek 9. He has been an important squad player, with four goal involvements in five gameweeks.
Frustrating Hold: Rich chose Trent Alexander-Arnold as his second pick in the initial draft, with his future now looking shaky given that he&#8217;s picking up a hamstring injury.
Expect Rich to return to winning ways in his Gameweek 12 match against bottom-of-the-league Matt, already projected at a 78% win. There&#8217;s tempting fixtures for Raul Jimenez and Alejandro Garnacho.

Community manager Paul&#8217;s good run of form continues and he now has five wins in the last six gameweeks, climbing to second in the overall rankings.
Star Man: Paul picked up Alexander Isak as his second pick in the draft, who has returned from injury in sensational form with three goals and one assist.
Frustrating Hold: Diogo Jota has managed just 30 minutes of action for Paul in this period before succumbing to injury. Paul will be hoping he returns after the international break for their fixture run.
As the form man in the table, Paul now has a target on his back, second to Rich purely on a points gained perspective. He&#8217;ll be hopeful to see Alisson returning from injury soon.

Editor Oli is another manager who has turned his season around, with a remarkable four wins on the bounce to take him to third in the table, hot on the heels of both Rich and Paul.
Star Man: Fulham&#8217;s Antonee Robinson has been a key player for delivering points in this winning streak, justifying a surprise fourth pick in the initial draft.
Frustrating Hold: The red card for Mohammed Kudus against Spurs in Gameweek 8 has not been helpful and an initial absence period has been extended to five matches!
A return to blistering form for Erling Haaland is all Oli needs now to catapult himself to the top of the table, having climbed his way from seventh at the last international break.

Star Man: Backing Matheus Cunha early as third pick in the draft has really paid off and now the fixtures have turned, he can continue to reap the rewards in the month ahead.
Frustrating Hold: The revolving door at Manchester United hasn&#8217;t helped the form of Marcus Rashford, with just the one goal involvement in this time.
Jian should have Eze back for his Gamewek 12 clash with Oli, and there&#8217;s hope that the arrival of Ruben Amorim can provide an upturn in form for Rashford ahead of the trip to Ipswich.

Fergi has slipped from fourth to fifth in league, with two wins and two losses in this recent period, but defeating his fellow FPL Green Arrow host Rich was the key element here.
Star Man: Mohamed Salah has been the main man in Fergi&#8217;s squad, with returns in all of the last four gameweeks: four goals and two assists.
Frustrating Hold: Picking up Manchester City&#8217;s Phil Foden in the third pick of the draft looked to be a smart move but his performances since returning to the squad have been disappointing.
Bruno Fernandes should be a key man for Fergi in this next period of games, as form and fixtures collide, plus the new manager bounce with a trip to Ipswich next.

Holly has had another difficult period of games, with two losses and two wins leaving her sixth in the table, but in touching distance of the league leaders.
Star Man: Injuries have blighted Holly&#8217;s front line but Morgan Rogers has been listed as a forward in this format, providing goals in consecutive away games to provide crucial points.
Frustrating Hold: She thought she&#8217;d smashed the draft when she was able to pick up Kevin De Bruyne in the second round but his return from injury hasn&#8217;t been a bed of roses.
Holly faces Gary next who is an equally difficult period and she welcomes back Brighton&#8217;s Joao Pedro for this game, who scored last time out as a substitute on his way back to full fitness.

Head of customer success Gary has been slipping down the rankings, with just one win and three losses in the last four gameweeks, leaving him seventh in the standings.
Star Man: Gary&#8217;s big win against Fergi in Gameweek 9 was largely helped by braces for Chris Wood and Bryan Mbeumo, who are each in a rich vein of form.
Frustrating Hold: Gary picked up Ederson as his eighth pick on the draft but the City goalkeeper has struggled, with just two clean sheets this season.
Gary will hope to get back to winning ways against Holly in Gameweek 12 and Cole Palmer could well be his star man in this period, with great upcoming fixtures.

Star Man: Matt picked Danny Welbeck as his ninth pick in the draft and he&#8217;s delivered two goals and one assist in this most recent period to carry the team.
Frustrating Hold: There&#8217;s plenty of candidates to choose from here but David Raya without a clean sheet in seven is a significant one. Picking a goalkeeper as third pick in the draft was a mistake.
A turn in Arsenal&#8217;s fixtures could improve the fortunes of Matt&#8217;s team, with Kai Havertz another Gunner in his squad. Another win on the board is essential.
