During the last international break, the Hub team launched a draft league on the <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/introducing-sleeper-a-beginners-guide-to-the-game/">Sleeper app</a>.
The team has been highly engaged in this format, with the competition hotting up after four rounds of action.

<h3>1. Rich</h3>
Despite never playing this format before and having the final pick when the draft took place, FPL Hall of Fame legend Rich has taken an early lead, winning all four of his match-ups to date.
Highlight: Rich&#8217;s winning streak is his highlight of course but he&#8217;s particularly proud of Mateo Kovacic trouncing Erling Haaland last week in the battle of Manchester City assets against Hub editor Oli.
Lowlight: Rich picked up Martin Odegaard for his third pick on the draft who then got injured later that same day and has been in the injury slot ever since!
Can anyone derail his winning start? Well in Gameweek 8 he comes up against his fellow FPL Green Arrow pundit Fergi, for the biggest grudge match of the campaign!

<h3>2. Gary</h3>
Head of Customer Success Gary sits second in the league table and one of five of the team to have two wins and two losses. He&#8217;s accrued the most points of the quintet.
Highlight: Those points accrued have been largely supported by Cole Palmer&#8217;s four goals against Brighton in Gameweek 6, where he scored 21.8 points.
Lowlight: Keeping abreast of the lineups and substitutions over the weekend has been Gary&#8217;s toughest challenge, which included playing the benched Jhon Duran last time around.
It transpires that Rich offered Gary a speculative trade of Palmer for Pedro Neto, which was quickly rejected. It will make for an interesting match-up between them in Gameweek 10, when Palmer plays Manchester United.

<h3>3. Holly</h3>
Holly was languishing in sixth place after the first three gameweeks before a win against Fergi last time out catapulted her up to third in the table.
Highlight: Holly&#8217;s recent win was helped by being the fastest to pick up Konstantinos Tsimikas when Andrew Robertson was benched, with a double up on the Liverpool defence netting her significant points.
Lowlight: She thought she&#8217;d smashed the draft when she was able to pick up Kevin De Bruyne in the second round but he then picked up an injury, although crucially he&#8217;s back soon.
Holly faces Oli next which will be a tough battle, with the Sleeper app currently suggesting Oli is the 71% favourite! Bukayo Saka is her latest injury doubt.

<h3>4. Fergi</h3>
Fergi made a great start in the Hub league, winning his early match-ups against Matt and Paul. He&#8217;s since been thwarted by Oli and Holly to leave him in mid-table obscurity.
Highlight: A good start has been Fergi&#8217;s highlight to date, where he felt like he owned the league! He was a manager who could do no wrong.
Lowlight: The crumble from Gameweek 6 onwards, including the now rescinded red card for Bruno Fernandes against Spurs and not a single goal involvement from his attackers in Gameweek 7.
Being second pick in the draft, Fergi will be hoping to see a return to form for Mohamed Salah in his quest to knock league leader Rich off his perch.

<h3>5. Jian</h3>
Jian was quick out of the blocks with two wins to open his campaign but he has since been defeated by Paul and Matt in the last two weeks.
Highlight: Jian has been an early backer of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri, which has paid off in the short-term, and now the fixtures are there to succeed with this duo for the long-term too.
Lowlight: Picking Crystal Palace talisman Eberechi Eze as his first pick in the draft now looks to be an error, with four consecutive blanks from the midfielder.
Jian is carrying a number of injury doubts into his Gameweek 8 match-up with Gary, including defenders Ben White and Ezri Konsa, making him the underdog.

<h3>6. Paul</h3>
Community Manager Paul has attempted to fill the void left by Sky fantasy with Sleeper, with mixed results. He is the fifth manager in the league with two wins and two losses, with form on the upturn.
Highlight: A huge score in Gameweek 6 was helped by Arsenal&#8217;s big win against Leicester, with contributions from Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli and Jurrien Timber to get his first win on the board.
Lowlight: Paul has suffered numerous injuries to his big-name players, including Son Heung-min who was his initial selection from seventh pick in the draft and Alexander Isak.
Paul will need to see players return from injury to get the better of bottom of the league Matt next time around, with Alisson the latest injury problem for his squad.

<h3>7. Oli</h3>
As first pick in the draft, editor Oli was feeling confident owning Haaland, but consecutive blanks have seen Oli slump down the table, with just one win.
Highlight: Snatching a win against Fergi with the help of Dwight McNeil, who his opponent had tipped on the Green Arrow podcast for success.
Lowlight: An absolute pummeling by Rich last week, in which it seemed like all his players were scoring. Rich was sure to keep Oli fully up to date!
Oli will be hoping Haaland finds his shooting boots, with the odds in his favour with a trip to bottom of the league Wolves. Holly will be countering with a stack of Manchester City midfielders.

<h3>8. Matt</h3>
Matt has had a tough start to his draft fantasy career, beginning with three consecutive losses. A win against Jian last time out wasn&#8217;t enough to lift him off the bottom of the table.
Highlight: Drafting in free agent Facundo Buonanotte and targeting a good fixture for Leicester against Bournemouth, where he registered a goal and a clean sheet.
Lowlight: There were too many for Matt to mention here, as every other week was a disaster. But he&#8217;s going all-in on a renewed strategy of more actively transferring-in players based on fixtures.
Matt has been busy with this approach over the international break and has already acquired the services of Tyler Dibling, Cameron Archer and James Justin in the free agent pool.
