            <p>FPL veteran <a href="https://twitter.com/richclarkefpl">Rich Clarke</a> reveals his strategy, transfer plans and captain for Gameweek 38, exclusively for Hub members.</p>
<p>Rich is a Fantasy Premier League legend and has one of the most enviable records out there, notching two top 500 finishes and eight top 10k finishes over a 16 year FPL career.</p>
<p>He is the only FPL manager in the world to have never finished outside the top 50k in any season during this time.</p>

<h2>Double Gameweek 37 performance</h2>
<p><strong>Points:  </strong>85 (-4)</p>

<p>The final double gameweek of the season provided plenty of rotation but was maybe the last opportunity to make big gains.</p>
<p>For this reason, I chose this week for my own mini 'Hail-Mary' and transferred out <strong>Alexander Isak (£7.0m)</strong> and the ill <strong>Marcus Rashford (£7.2m)</strong> for two high-upside Manchester City assets in <strong>Julian Alvarez (£6.1m)</strong> and <strong>Riyad Mahrez (£7.5m)</strong>.</p>
<p>Both City assets saw good minutes over the double, with Mahrez starting twice and Alvarez scoring the winner against Chelsea.</p>
<p>It was the right time to take a hit to try to move back towards the top 10k. The hit did pay for itself and resulted in a small 'profit' of two points for the week but the returning Rashford threatened to turn that into a net loss in the final match as Manchester United demolished Chelsea.</p>
<p>My Brighton differential, <strong>Evan Ferguson (4.6m)</strong>, also came good, with a brace against Southampton providing some compensation for not owning <strong>Pervis Estupinan (£5.0m)</strong> these past few weeks!</p>
<h3>Reflections on this season</h3>
<p>Gameweek 37 was my second-highest gameweek rank of the season, so I'm delighted with that after some terrible weeks in the previous doubles of 34 and 36.</p>
<p>If you had said at the beginning of this crazy season that I'd go into Gameweek 38 with a chance of a top 10k finish, I would have grabbed it with both hands.</p>
<p>In recent weeks, I have experienced a real roller-coaster of results, with a mainly downward impact on my ranking.</p>
<p>The impact of team leaks, rotation, 50/50s and some massive captaincy variances has caused joy and pain across the game.  To say it's been challenging is an understatement. I'll be very glad of the break in June and July.</p>
<p>Going into this final weekend, my ranking is just one point outside the top 10k. What a Sunday I am in for...</p>
