<p><strong>1. Set your team with no/few transfers in mind</strong></p>
<p>With no wildcard or overhaul option like in other fantasy formats, the season start is the only time to change your full 11, and 40 transfers always seem to get used up quicker than managers think.</p>
<p>A few moves to get in the emerging budget enabler or to transfer out a player who isn’t as nailed-on as expected in the first couple of weeks is certainly not overkill, but transfers often reap more rewards in periods of greater fixture volume like at Christmas, or when players play both FA Cup and league games in the latter part of the season.</p>
<p><strong>2. You don’t need all the heavy hitters</strong></p>
<p>With no captaincy feature in TFF, missing a single big return from a player won’t de-rail your season.</p>
<p>Balancing the higher-value players in defence, with bonus magnets in midfield, and one or two heavy-hitting attackers gives a structured and flexible team designed to pick up consistent points.</p>
