Who are the best Arsenal FPL players for the 2024/25 season?

<h2>Best Arsenal FPL players 2024/25: Bukayo Saka (£10.0m)</h2>
Saka was by far Arsenal&#8217;s top-scoring FPL pick last season.
He managed 226 points, 40 more than his nearest rival and the fourth best figure in the game.
The Englishman scored 16 and assisted 12, five more goal involvements than teammate Kai Havertz.
Saka had a few injury niggles and was often seen hobbling off the pitch &#8211; but he was one of Mikel Arteta&#8217;s most trusted players and almost always made the starting lineup the following week.
In terms of his underlying <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a>, the midfielder led Arsenal players for shots, shots on target, shots in the box, expected goals (xG) and goals per appearance.
He also ranked top for expected assists (xA) &#8211; 0.31 &#8211; and assists per appearance (0.34). No player in the league managed a better xA.
As a result, he averaged more than six points per game (6.46).
Saka has multiple routes to points, including corners and penalties. The Gunners scored more set-piece goals than any other Premier League team last season.
Hub AI rates Saka as the best Arsenal player for the first four gameweeks, with the fourth best predicted points overall at the time of writing.
He had a busy Euro 2024 campaign, however Arteta indicated his players should be fresh and ready for Gameweek 1.

<h2>Best Arsenal FPL players 2024/25: Martin Odegaard (£8.5m)</h2>
Odegaard was second to Saka among Arsenal players in several <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a> categories last season &#8211; and even ahead in some.
The Norwegian was just behind his teammate for total shots, expected goal involvements and xA per appearance and led for key passes and big chances created.
He ended the season on eight goals, 11 assists and 186 FPL points, just ahead of Ben White and Kai Havertz.
Odegaard was one of the most creative players in the league, ranking third overall for key passes and xA.
This season, FPL managers have a dilemma when it comes to picking an Arsenal midfielder of choice, with Odegaard £1.5m cheaper than Saka.
Their predicted points are not too far apart, with Saka just over four ahead, but the saving could enable significant upgrades elsewhere.
Hub AI rates Odegaard as the joint-third best midfielder at £8.5m and below, 0.1 behind Bruno Fernandes in second place.

<h2>Best Arsenal FPL players 2024/25: Gabriel</h2>
Gabriel didn&#8217;t start the first two games of the season amid reported interest from Saudi Arabia but he was a mainstay afterwards, starting 34 games.
He was a key part of a defence which kept a league-best 18 clean sheets and Arsenal are likely to be one of the best defensive sides again.
But it was his attacking threat which elevates him above fellow centre-back William Saliba in our book.
The Brazilian had the best xG among all defenders (4.48), with his aerial threat from set-pieces bettering the goal threat of the league&#8217;s attacking full-backs.
He scored three goals from seven big chances, so has room for improvement.
Saliba outscored Gabriel last season based on the fact he started all 38 games.
The Frenchman&#8217;s apparent nailed-on status makes him a reliable pick &#8211; and as highlighted in our analysis of <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/calafiori-arsenal-defenders-analysed-fpl">Arsenal defenders</a>, it&#8217;s worth considering whether added competition and more Champions League matches will impact Gabriel&#8217;s potential for rotation.
For now though, we&#8217;re hopeful Gabriel remains a reliable route into the best defence in the league.
