<h2>Best Arsenal FPL players: Bukayo Saka (£10.0m)</h2>
Saka&#8217;s 2024/25 season was impacted by a long-term hamstring injury.
He was limited to 25 appearances, with five coming from the bench.
But despite this, he still finished the season as the Gunners&#8217; leading assister (11), while none of his teammates matched his 17 goal involvements.
The England winger was involved in more than a third of his team&#8217;s goals when on the pitch. Set-pieces and penalties added to his all-round appeal.
The arrival of Viktor Gyokeres could affect his penalty taking status but even after factoring this in, Hub AI still believes he is among the best picks in the game.
He is Arsenal&#8217;s leading predicted points scorer over the first four gameweeks and joint-second highest overall (27.1).

<h2>Best Arsenal FPL players: Gabriel (£6.0m)/William Saliba (£6.0m)</h2>
Gabriel offers attacking threat in one of the league&#8217;s consistently most solid defences.
A constant threat from set-pieces, the Brazilian scored three goals last season and had the most shots, big chances and expected goals (xG) among the Gunners&#8217; defenders.

This was all despite the fact he missed 10 games at the end of the season because of a hamstring injury.
Gabriel&#8217;s minutes have been limited in <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-pre-season-results-guide">pre-season</a> as he is still building up his fitness following surgery.
Mikel Arteta has indicated that the centre-back should be ready for Gameweek 1 but if doubts remain, Saliba offers the next most-nailed route into the Arsenal backline.
The Gunners kept 13 clean sheets last season and had the best expected goals conceded (xGC) of 35.
They rank bottom of our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a> for the first six gameweeks but many FPL managers will see either Gabriel or Saliba as set-and-forget options.

<h2>Best Arsenal FPL players: Declan Rice (£6.5m)</h2>
Rice is an intriguing option at £6.5m.
He is £1.5m cheaper than Martin Odegaard and could play a similar role after the signing of defensive midfielder Martin Zubimendi.
This could provide him with the chance to build on his four goals and seven assists of 2024/25.
On some set-pieces, Rice has various ways of scoring FPL points, which could include the new <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-2025-26-changes-defensive-contributions">defensive contributions</a>.
He would have earned 18 extra points from this system, although having a more advanced role could impact his ability to accumulate enough ball recoveries.
Hub AI rates him alongside Iliman Ndiaye and Yankubah Minteh for predicted points.

<h2>One to watch: Viktor Gyokeres (£9.0m)</h2>
Gyokeres has already made it into 23% of FPL teams after joining from Sporting.
He looks set to become the long-awaited solution to the Gunners&#8217; lack of a natural number nine.
But his transfer from the Portuguese club took time and it put him behind his teammates in terms of pre-season preparations.
He only made his first start on Wednesday (August 6) and it could take him a little while to settle.
Early minutes could be limited as a result and with the poor fixtures combined, spending £9.0m on him in Gameweek 1 is arguably risky.
Hub AI rates him, putting him second for predicted points among all Arsenal assets &#8211; but experienced FPL managers may opt for the tried-and-tested Ollie Watkins at the same price for now.
