<h3><strong>Luke Shaw (£5.2m) – Manchester United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Crystal Palace (H) and Leeds United (H)</strong></p>
<p>Manchester United have two home games this week, and look like one of the best sides to invest in defensively.</p>
<p>They welcome Crystal Palace and Leeds United to Old Trafford. The former have scored 18 goals (sixteenth) with an xG of 22 (seventeenth) so have been one of the worst attacking sides this season. Leeds have scored 26 goals (twelfth) with an xG of 27.85 (eleventh).</p>
<p>United have been a good defensive side, and have conceded 25 goals (fifth) with an<a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/a-simple-guide-to-opta-stats-for-fpl/"> Expected Goals Conceded (xGC)</a> of 24.8 (fourth) and it's evident they have improved at the back as the season has gone on. Six of their goals were conceded in the first two gameweeks.</p>
<p><strong>Luke Shaw</strong> is nailed at left-back for them and has one goal and two assists this campaign. He has created 16 chances, with an xA of 1.81.</p>
<p>Erik Ten Hag’s men have a 55% chance of a clean sheet against Palace and 41% against Leeds, which means that they are at 73% to keep at least one clean sheet over the two games (first).</p>

<h3><strong>Marcus Rashford (£7.2m) – Manchester United </strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Crystal Palace (H) and Leeds United (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Marcus Rashford </strong>is having one of his best ever seasons. He now has nine goals and three assists in the league in 20 starts.</p>
<p>He has the second best xG (9.17) from midfielders and has also created 14 chances with an xA of 3.68.</p>
<p>Manchester United also have a really good double gameweek from an attacking sense. Leeds have conceded 33 goals (seventeenth) with an xGC of 35.5 (nineteenth) and Palace are also ranked at thirteenth for xGC (32.1).</p>
<p>United seem to be getting better as the season is going on and have now scored 32 goals (seventh) with an xG of 35.64 (seventh) and I can see them scoring in both of these fixtures.</p>
<p>They are also at a healthy 38% and 33% to score 2.5+ goals in their respective fixtures which puts them at 58% over the two games.</p>
<p>Rashford is without a doubt one of the first names on the team sheet, and is nailed to start both games, especially with them being four days apart. He has the highest Goal Involvement (38%) of all United players this season</p>
<p>He may also be on penalties now, as he took the last one they received. He is likely to be the most captained player in this gameweek too.</p>

<h3><strong>Bruno Fernandes (£9.9m) – Manchester United </strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Crystal Palace (H) and Leeds United (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Bruno Fernandes</strong> is also enjoying a good season. He has four goals and five assists in the league with two goals and three assists coming in the last five matches.</p>
<p>He has an xG of 3.86 and has created 50 chances (third overall) with an xA of 7.94 (third overall).</p>
<p>Bruno and Rashford are the best two attacking options for Double Gameweek 22 and both will be very highly owned. The Portuguese is always within a shout of attacking returns with him being on the majority of set-pieces, and he is also their best creator, pulling the strings in midfield.</p>
<p>He is also nailed to start over the two games and is the player who is likely to play the most minutes in United’s double.</p>
<p>In his 19 starts, he has played the full 90 minutes 18 times with the other game being 89 minutes. He is as secure as they come.</p>

<h3><strong>Kaoru Mitoma (£5.1m) – Brighton</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Bournemouth (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kaoru Mitoma </strong>has really burst onto the scene post World Cup and has been absolutely phenomenal. He has four goals and three assists in only seven starts for Brighton.</p>
<p>He has registered an xG of 3.3 and created 13 chances with an xA of 2.57. The Japanese star has both goal and assist threat.</p>
<p>The Seagulls have a plum home tie against Bournemouth in Double Gameweek 22. The Cherries have conceded the most goals (42) this season with an xGC of 33.1 (fifteenth).</p>
<p>Furthermore, Brighton have been fantastic going forward under their own new manager Robert De Zerbi and have now scored 37 goals (fourth) with an xG of 35.82 (sixth). Bear in mind they have only played 19 games also.</p>
<p>Mitoma has started every game since the restart and has three goals and one assist since Gameweek 17. He is nailed to start just now, and one of the most inform players in the league, up against one of the worst defences.</p>
<p>He is also at a very generous price of £5.1m so offers tremendous value.</p>

<h3><strong>Rodrigo (£6.4m) – Leeds United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Nottingham Forest (a) and Manchester United (a)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Rodrigo</strong> has been great value this campaign, and has already amassed 10 goals and one assist. He has an xG of 7.23 (third among midfielders) and has created 13 chances with an xA of 2.75.</p>
<p>I think it’s pretty safe to say his spot in the team is secure at the moment, despite <strong>Patrick</strong> <strong>Bamford (£7.2m)</strong> coming back from injury. The forward has been out since Gameweek 15 and is likely to be eased back in, and could even start alongside Rodrigo.</p>
<p>Leeds United have a double gameweek against Nottingham Forest and Manchester United. Steve Coopers' men have conceded 35 goals (nineteenth) with an xGC of 35.1 (eighteenth) so will do very well to keep Leeds at bay.</p>
<p>Their second fixture against the Red Devils is much tougher but could easily score given the quality of their attack.</p>
<p>The Whites have also been decent in the final third scoring 26 goals (ninth) with an xG of 27.85 (eleventh).</p>
<p>Rodrigo has been the one who has filled in when it comes to goals, and he looks like a fine option at his price. He is also an OOP (out of position) player as he is listed as a midfielder in FPL but has been playing up top.</p>
<p>He is also the first-choice penalty taker in Bamford’s absence.</p>
