<h2>FPL Gameweek 5: The fixtures</h2>
<p>Southampton top the Hub's <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a> this week, with fellow promoted team Ipswich travelling to the south coast.</p>
<p>Saints are without a point however, while the Tractor Boys are fresh from an away draw against Brighton, which will give them confidence.</p>
<p>Aston Villa continue their good run with another home game - and it's a derby for the Villans against Wolves.</p>
<p>Leicester sit third on the ticker and play struggling Everton at home. The Foxes have been the pick of the Championship graduates, scoring five goals. There's work to do in defence though, having conceded seven - as many as Ipswich and one fewer than Southampton.</p>
<p>Brighton and Liverpool play their second successive home game this weekend - and FPL managers will be hoping for much better showings than in Gameweek 4.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 5 best players: Predicted points</h2>
<p><strong>Mohamed Salah </strong>has the edge for <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">predicted points</a> in Gameweek 5, with Liverpool's fixture rated better than Manchester City's.</p>
<p>While City are also at home, they host fellow title challengers Arsenal, which explains Haaland's lower points projection.</p>
<p>But with nine goals already this season, FPL managers face a difficult challenge.</p>
<p>On the one hand, Salah looks the obvious choice of the two, however Haaland's form is hard to ignore and it would not be a surprise to see him continue.</p>

<p>Away from the top two, <strong>Eberechi Eze </strong>continues to be highly rated but <strong>Son Heung-min </strong>and <strong>Cole Palmer </strong>are just 0.3 predicted points behind.</p>
<p><strong>Ollie Watkins </strong>- on 6.2 - just misses out on a place in the top five at the time of writing. This could well change by the end of the week.</p>
