 Tottenham Hotspur have accepted an £86.4m bid from Bayern Munich for Harry Kane - but what will be the FPL impact if he does decide to leave the Premier League?

<h2>Harry Kane transfer: FPL impact on Spurs </h2>
Kane leaving could have the following impact on Spurs players:
<h3>Richarlison (£7.0m)</h3>
First and foremost, this would immediately make Richarlison (£7.0m) a far better option - and he could well be the new midfielder to acquire.
He would play as the number nine in Kane’s absence and as a £7.0m midfielder playing out of position, this would make him a very enticing pick.
The Brazilian has played there twice during <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-pre-season-results-guide">pre-season</a> and even scored a hat-trick when he came on for Kane in their friendly against Lion City.
Looking at his previous history, the Brazilian has goals in him. The fact he is a starter for Brazil tells us of his quality. He has 20 goals for his country in 44 matches.
He is a proven Premier League asset, with 49 goals and 33 assists. In his career, he has managed 30 goals and 10 assists playing as a centre-forward, so he is no stranger to that role.
The only downside is that if Spurs signed a replacement for Kane, then his place in the team would again become uncertain.
With the Gameweek 1 deadline so close though, it doesn’t look like they will sign another striker for the start of the season.
Richarlison could therefore be a good option to start with if you want to go for a differential and take a gamble on him. If you want to wait and see on him, then Gameweek 3 is also a good time to bring him in when Spurs’ fixtures pick up.
You would also think Spurs will get plenty of chances with Ange Postecoglou's attacking nature and 2-3-5 system with inverted full-backs.
The Spurs boss has also spoken highly of Richarlison in pre-season:

<h3>Son Heung-min (£9.0m)</h3>
It’s difficult to say what impact Kane leaving would have on Son.
His partnership with the England forward has been one of the best in the Premier League’s history and their telepathic connection has been a joy to watch.
Although this could mean fewer assists for Son, it well mean he scores more, as others aside Richarlison would have to step up.
Son can also play as the number nine and may do on occasion if the Brazilian is subbed off early for example.
I don’t think he would start in that position but may spend periods of time there. He has 46 goals and 23 assists playing as forward in his career and his FPL record speaks for itself.
He could well compete with Richarlison for the number nine spot or even interchange with him.
The South Korean would likely see an increase in expected minutes and with 103 goals and 66 assists in the Premier League, he is an FPL juggernaut.
At £9.0m though and with two tough opening fixtures, he might be one to wait for until Gameweek 3.
It’s a bigger risk to start with him due to him being £2.0m more than Richarlison. There are also so many good midfield options around his price point.

<h3>James Maddison (£7.5m)</h3>
Maddison has been a fantastic FPL option over the years and his price of £7.5m, plus the fact he will be on a lot of set-pieces for an attacking team, also makes him a very good option.
He has 43 goals and 39 assists in his last five seasons for Leicester City and with him now in a better team, I would back him to beat his best attacking return of 12 goals and 11 assists that he achieved in the 2021/22 season.
Even without Kane, there are plenty of goals in that Spurs side and the England midfielder can chip in himself too.
Looking at their heat maps, Kane and Maddison play in similar areas.
Kane, like Maddison, has a tendency to drop deep into an attacking midfield position, bringing the wide forwards into play.
With no Kane, he would no doubt have to emphasise his playmaking abilities ,as Kane did drop deep quite a lot to create chances for his teammates.
Maddison will be nailed to start in that side and will get goals and assists with the quality of players around him.

<h2>Harry Kane transfer: Who would take penalties for Spurs?</h2>
If Kane leaves, who takes on penalty duties for Spurs is going to be huge.
Realistically, all three of the above could take over. Here's there records (scored/taken and conversion percentage)
Richarlison: 7/8 - 87%
Maddison: 6/8 - 75%
Son: 7/12 - 58%
None of the above are regular penalty takers and the sample size is small but Richarlison does currently have the best record.
He was the first-choice penalty taker at Everton before he left, where he scored all four on his spot kicks.
Maddison scored two and missed two for Leicester and Son has scored one and missed one in his Premier League career.
For me, I think it will be Maddison or Richarlison who will get the penalties.
Judging by their record and they have taken them more recently.
Of course, there is no way to know for sure and we will only have our answer once Spurs actually get a penalty.

<h2>Harry Kane transfer: Conclusion</h2>
In conclusion, I think Richarlison is the pick with the most upside.
He is likely to start the season as the number nine and if Spurs persist with him and don’t sign another forward he could well hit 20 goals in the league being a regular starter.
Richarlison hit double digits for goals for Everton in three separate seasons, therefore in this Spurs team I don’t think 20 is out of the question. He is also the cheapest out of the three.
Maddison is the next best option as I think he has a good chance of getting penalty duties too and he will be their main playmaker regardless. I also like the fact he will have a lot of set-pieces duties, which is always a plus when it comes to FPL.
Son is the one I would be more inclined to wait and see on, mainly due to his price and the good midfield options in and around his price point.
