UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 tips from <a href="https://twitter.com/kwolf_ff">Kevin</a> who finished 21st overall last season.

<h2>Matchday 3 Team Review &#8211; UCL Fantasy  </h2>
Wildcarding after Matchday 1 continues to look like the correct decision finishing with a total of 98 points in Matchday 3.
This gave me a green arrow, rising from 68,000 to 14,619 overall.
My defence performed well with each player returning. Between the sticks, Sevilla&#8217;s Yassine Bounou (€5.0m) picked up a clean sheet
Eder Militao (€5.3m), Noussair Mazraoui (€4.7m) and Joshua Kimmich (€6.6m) all produced clean sheets. This was in addition to seven ball recovery points between them.
My surprise of the week was Stefan de Vrij (€5.2) scoring a goal against Sheriff. I was disappointeed to see Inter Milan lose their clean sheet but de Vrij ended up as one of my top performers with 11 points.
In midfield, Mohammed Salah (€10.6m) continued to do Salah things. The Egyptian scored a brace, finishing with 13 points.
Meanwhile, Arnaut Danjuma (€6.2m), one of my transfers, picked up a late assist to finish with five points. Edson Alvarez (€4.6m) finished on four.
Similar to Matchday 2, my forward line continued to generate points. Karim Benzema (€10.1m), Robert Lewandowski (€11.7m), and Sebastien Haller (€8.9m) all scored a goal.
Haller continued to impress by notching an assist to go along with his goal and finished with 10 points.

<h2>Sticking with the Captaincy &#8211; UCL Fantasy  </h2>
As mentioned in my <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/6-uefa-champions-league-fantasy-football-top-tips-ucl-2021-22/">Champions League Fantasy Tips</a>, article, I trusted tip #4: limit the twisting of captaincy.
I refrained the urge of changing my captain from Karim Benzema (€10.1m) to Robert Lewandowski (€11.7m).
Ultimately, it proved to be a small win as Benzema finished with nine points compared to Lewandowski’s six. 
There were rumbling that Cesar Azpilicueta (€5.3m) would not start on Day 2 so I left him on my bench and Edson Alvarez (€4.6m) in the lineup. I ended up missing out on three points but I&#8217;m happy it wasn’t more.

<h2>Goalkeepers – UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 Preview</h2>
In goal, Yassine Bounou (€5.0m) plays Lille on Day 1 and I have confidence he can produce another clean sheet.
Otherwise, Gregor Kobel (€4.7m) will come in on Day 2 which does not fill me with great confidence.
 
<h2>Defenders – UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 Preview</h2>
My defence continues to look solid for Matchday 4 and I don’t foresee myself using a transfer in this position.
Managers will be able to see Chelsea’s starting 11 before locking in their transfers.
This allows me to make a final decision on Cesar Azpilicueta (€5.3m). If he doesn&#8217;t start, I will have to make a sideways move for another Chelsea defender.
Doubling up on the Chelsea defense may be a shrewd move as they play Malmo on Matchday 4 and a clean sheet seems likely.
 
<h2>Midfielders – UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 Preview</h2>
I like the look of my midfield heading into Matchday 4 but may use a transfer to bolster this position.
Mohammed Salah (€10.6m) will not be going anywhere and I expect him to return points against any opponent.
Arnaut Danjuma (€6.2m) faces Young Boys again and will be in my lineup on Day 1.
My budget enablers Edson Alvarez (€4.6m) and Joao Palhinha (€5.1m) both have decent matchups.
However, neither excite me and could be upgraded to a player with higher upside but funds is the underpinning issue.
Christopher Nkunku (€7.9m) continues to be a good asset but with games against Paris St. Germain and Manchester City still to come in two of his next three, he could be moved on at his price point for a player with a better fixture.
 
<h2>Forwards – UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 Preview</h2>
I feel very comfortable with my forward line moving into Matchday 4.
Robert Lewandowski (€11.7m) will be my captain for Day 1. He has scored five goals in three games so far in the Champions League and I don’t see that stopping with a home game against Benfica.
Karim Benzema (€10.1m) looks to have recovered from a knock that held him out of action this weekend and has a great game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Sebastien Haller (€8.9m) has done nothing but produce since coming into my Wildcard squad. Despite this, I continue to look at him as a possible transfer to upgrade my midfield. 
He plays on Day 2 as well which limits his appeal but this feels like a luxury transfer.

<h2>Possible Transfers – UCL Fantasy Matchday 4</h2>
Unfortunately, it is hard for me to confirm my transfers before seeing the Chelsea lineup.
Yet I will outline my thoughts moving into Matchday 4 and confirm my moves on <a href="https://twitter.com/kwolf_ff">Twitter</a> before the deadline.
Cesar Azpilicueta (€5.3m) starting or not will determine a lot for me. If he is benched, and Ben Chilwell (€5.5m) or Reece James (€5.5m) are starting, one of them will be my Chelsea defensive transfer swap.
On the other hand, if the Spaniard starts, I will most likely go into Matchday 4 with Azpilicueta as my only Chelsea defender.
My main issue going into Matchday 4 is my lack of starting players on Day 1. Currently, I only have five of my 15 players playing on Day 1 and I need to fix this.
What I can confirm is that both my transfers will involve players playing on Day 1.
Based on my budget and set up, I am looking at the following players as transfers:

<li>Leroy Sane (€9.1 – MID) – Bayern Munich </li>
<li>Kai Havertz (€9.0m – MID) – Chelsea </li>
<li>Jorginho (€6.1m – MID) – Chelsea </li>
<li>Noah Okafor (€5.0m – MID) or Nicolas Seiwald (€4.6m – MID) – Salzburg</li>
</ul>

<h2>Limitless Chip Planning</h2>
Matchday 4 looks like a great Matchday to target for the Limitless Chip. However, based on my team structure, I think it would be better utiilised in Matchday 5.
