<h2>Updated team reveal for Gameweek 1</h2>
With news that Kasper Schmeichel has completed his move to Nice coming through, the FPL community has potentially been given a gift in having two £4m goalkeepers from one team.
So I&#8217;ve taken a bit of a gamble here by bringing in Daniel Iversen (£4.0m) alongside Danny Ward (£4m) to squeeze every last drop of budget out of the team.
This could backfire but I&#8217;m hoping it pays off.
This, combined with confusing quotes about the likelihood of Ivan Perisic (£5.5m) starting, has shifted our attention elsewhere, as you&#8217;ll see from the latest (and hopefully final) Gameweek 1 draft:

Sanchez to Iversen 
Perisic to James 
Mount to Neto 
Plange to Toney
<h4>Defenders</h4>
Neco Williams (£4.0m) of Nottingham Forest is a lovely enabler, so playing a four-at-the-back formation, Williams is a perfect bench option.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m) and Joao Cancelo (£7.0m) are locked in.
I was torn between Luis Diaz (£8.0m) and Andy Roberston (£7.0m) initially but I&#8217;ve sided with Robertson.
In the opening six weeks, Liverpool play two of the three promoted teams as well as Everton, who were in the top five teams conceding the most FPL points to opposition defenders last season.
Reece James (£6.0m) now feels marginally safer than Ivan Perisic (£5.5m) and with a decent opening schedule, he could smash it.
His <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/a-simple-guide-to-opta-stats-for-fpl">expected goal involvements</a> (xGI) per 90 numbers were massive last season, so if he can stay fit, he can rival the Liverpool full-backs.
<h4>Midfielders</h4>
Pedro Neto (£5.5m) was always in our thoughts, and with great fixtures, we&#8217;re now bringing him in as part of a money saving exercise to facilitate other moves.
Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) is locked in as the best player in the game and as a great captaincy option over the majority of the opening weeks.
Gabriel Martinelli (£6.0m) has made the cut over Bukayo Saka (£8.0m) after a great pre-season and this saves me £2.0m for vital upgrades needed elsewhere.
In the first six gameweeks, Arsenal play two of the three promoted teams and Man United, who were in the top five teams conceding the most FPL points to opposition midfielders last season.
With how expensive some of the better forward options are this year, I&#8217;m tempted to start with a cheaper midfield to fund better forwards.
Leon Bailey (£5.0m) had a cracking pre-season and whilst he&#8217;s potentially not nailed, surely he gets an opportunity initially. He&#8217;s in as a budget option.
The final member of the midfield is Andreas Pereira (£4.5m) of Fulham. He should be primed to play in an advanced position and could even be on some set pieces, so he is perfect for our bench.
<h4>Forwards</h4>
Erling Haaland (£11.5m) vs Harry Kane (£11.5m) is a real 50/50 call. This one will go down to the wire but one of them will be in my team.
Both teams have great opening fixtures on the whole, and while City&#8217;s are slightly better, we know Kane is a 90 minute man, whereas Haaland is still adapting to his new club.
Gabriel Jesus (£8.0m) had a great pre-season, so he will also make the first draft. As mentioned above, Arsenal have also had an excellent pre-season and at £8.0m, Jesus potentially offers great value.
I&#8217;ve already mentioned the Iversen move above, but all of this has enabled us to upgrade our third striker spot to Ivan Toney (£7.0m). 
With decent fixtures, especially from Gameweek 3, plus him being nailed on for 90 minutes and on penalties, I&#8217;m hoping that Toney can be a lovely differential for this team.
