This FPL strategy article will look at Rich P&#8217;s team for Gameweek 11 as he looks to build on a top 14k finish from last season with his data-based approach.

Another decent week this week. A score of 75 points takes me up to 27k, which is a great spot to be in at this stage of the season.

Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.8m) didn&#8217;t make the squad but is hopefully back for Bournemouth this weekend.
Reece James (£6.1m) was typically benched for Chelsea&#8217;s clean sheet against Wolves and then got injured in the Champions League game. A typically injury prone player, this doesn&#8217;t look like great news.
New signing Marc Guehi (£4.3m) got a one-pointer after Crystal Palace conceded to Leeds.
The double Newcastle defence of Kieran Trippier (£5.6m) and Nick Pope (£5.3m) conceded yet again.
This has been a pretty frustrating double up. Three clean sheets all season for Pope &#8211; and none since I got him on <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-wildcard-and-when-to-use-it">Wildcard</a> despite great fixtures. At least Trippier is providing attacking returns.
Jarrod Bowen (£8.2m) scored again, this time from the penalty spot. Erling Haaland (£12.2m) got his usual return.
Harry Kane (£11.4m) also scored again.
Miguel Almiron (£5.2m) is definitely the hero though. Another goal for us and a price rise. Even now he&#8217;s only 6% owned.
James Maddison (£8.3m) blanked against Bournemouth unfortunately but is still in credit from Gameweek 9.
Most of the points came from double-digit hauls from Joao Cancelo (£7.3m) and Gabriel Martinelli (£6.6m), so overall it was a successful week!

West Ham have conceded the most FPL points to opposition goalkeepers this season, with Newcastle scoring the most so far.
Wolves are just behind Newcastle though and have two decent fixtures now. The uncertainty around the club however puts me off Jose Sa (£5.0m).

Bournemouth are conceding the most FPL points to opposition defenders, with Wolves just behind them.
The Cherries, Nottingham Forest, West Ham, Wolves and Southampton are the teams you want your defenders to be playing against.
Spurs, Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle and Chelsea are the teams with defenders scoring the most FPL points.
If James is out long-term, I might need a new defender. It&#8217;s slim pickings out there right now though. Brighton might be a short-term option, whereas Arsenal could be an option after the blank.
<h3>Midfielders</h3>

Southampton and Leicester are conceding the most FPL points to opposition midfielders by some distance. Nottingham Forest, Wolves, Fulham and Bournemouth are not too far behind.
Ideally I want midfielders facing these teams.
Liverpool are now very close to the bottom five teams as well&#8230;
I noted last week that it was a shame Bournemouth don&#8217;t have any appealing midfield options given their fixtures and then I saw Philip Billing (£5.3m) and Ryan Christie (£5.3m) top their team for FPL Points in Gameweek 10!
Could one of them be worth a short-term punt?
The teams who have the highest-scoring midfield units are Brighton, Manchester City, Newcastle, Arsenal and Manchester United.
With Arsenal and Manchester City having a blank gameweek in Gameweek 12, I won&#8217;t be looking to add anyone from these teams at this stage.
Crystal Palace midfielders now embark on a tasty run, playing three of the five teams conceding the most FPL Points to opposition Midfielders.
Could it be time for Wilfried Zaha (£7.4m) to make his way into the squad?
Perhaps Eberechi Eze (£5.5m) or Michael Olise (£5.4m) could be budget options?
<h3>Forwards</h3>

Nottingham Forest and Leicester are the two teams conceding the most FPL points to opposition forwards.
City, Brentford, Spurs, Liverpool and Nottingham Forest are the teams with forwards scoring the most FPL points.
I&#8217;ve got £2.5m in the bank, which I&#8217;ve earmarked for Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) in Gameweek 12. But with Liverpool in dire straits, this might be better used elsewhere.
I&#8217;m hoping we get news about Mitrovic before deadline. If he is still out, then I will need to consider replacements.
There are not too many appealing options at the moment, so it might be a case of dropping that place to a dead spot for the bench and banking even more money for use in the future.

I look at this table to target specific fixtures and to see how teams are performing at home and away.
For my transfer targets and captaincy in any given week, I&#8217;ll be looking at how their opponents perform either at home or away.
An example this week is targeting players for Gameweek 12. Brighton play Nottingham Forest at home in that week and Forest are the team conceding the most FPL points to opposition defenders when they play away.
If Reece James is out long-term, perhaps someone like Lewis Dunk (£4.6m) could fit the bill and I could move that money further forward.
<h2>Gameweek 10 transfers</h2>
My team currently looks like this:

I have £2.6m in the bank. If Mitrovic is out, then I will need to consider my options for that spot.
I could either turn it into a dead spot and upgrade Andreas Pereira (£4.6m), or use the money I already have to upgrade Mitrovic himself.
Same with James. In all likelihood he misses the weekend game and then Gameweek 12 is midweek, so he&#8217;s likely to miss two games.
Someone like Dunk could be a decent short-term replacement for him.
Now Newcastle&#8217;s fixtures are turning, one move I&#8217;m heavily considering is transferring Almiron out for Zaha.
With European Football this midweek, I won&#8217;t be making any early transfers as I want to have as much information as possible.
We&#8217;ve already seen James get injured, so there&#8217;s no benefit to moving early.
<h3>Captaincy</h3>
Haaland at home to Southampton last week was a success but like I mentioned might happen, it wasn&#8217;t a haul.
Southampton have so far had a knack of limiting FPL points they concede to forwards.
It was City&#8217;s midfield doing the damage as I alluded to, with Phil Foden (£8.2m) bagging an 11-pointer.
This week, we see Haaland face a hapless Liverpool side in complete disarray.
Defensively, they&#8217;re a complete mess, with plenty of silly errors. City could tear them apart this week.

Both a <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/my-team">My Team</a> gameweek and team rating of 88% here, not too shabby at all. However I won&#8217;t be making any transfers until much closer to the deadline.
With a short turnaround between gameweeks, I may not be able to get another article out ahead of Gameweek 12. My inclination (if I use both transfers) would be to roll the transfer next week.
