This FPL strategy article will look at Rich P&#8217;s team for Gameweek 28, as he looks to build on a top 14k finish from last season with his data-based approach.

That&#8217;s more like it! 100 points and a big green arrow from 267k to 194k, but still with a sense of what could have been.
Leaving 29 points on the bench gives a bitter taste in the mouth, but my plan all along was to Bench Boost in Gameweek 29, so I&#8217;m hopeful I can claw back some of the losses then.
My current target is to get into the top 100k, and then I&#8217;ll see where I am.
My Brentford assets all returned, as Ethan Pinnock (£4.4m) and Rico Henry (£4.5m) both got me 8 points.
Ivan Toney (£7.8m) smashed it as captain in the end, getting a goal, an assist and then maximum bonus points in his final match of the gameweek.

Erling Haaland (£12.2m) got a goal away at Crystal Palace, and Harry Kane (£11.7m) got a brace plus maximum bonus points at home to Nottingham Forest.
Dejan Kulusevski (£7.9m) blanked again, so will be on the chopping block after Gameweek 28. A risk that hasn&#8217;t paid off.
In terms of Brighton assets, Robert Sanchez (£4.6m) became Jason Steele (£3.9m) with my free transfer, and a 10-point return in his second game was a welcome surprise after conceding twice against Leeds.
Kaoru Mitoma (£5.5m) ended on 12 points after a couple of assists and a bonus point.
Pervis Estupinan (£4.8m) ended on 9 points.

<h2>Double and blank gameweeks</h2>
We&#8217;re at the Blank Gameweek in this crazy schedule.
Brighton, Fulham, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and West Ham all blank.
Then, in Gameweek 29, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, United, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and West Ham all double.
With all of that in mind, I&#8217;ll be thinking about these teams when considering my transfers, and also my chip strategy moving forward.

West Ham have conceded the most FPL points to opposition goalkeepers so far this season, with Southampton and Crystal Palace just behind.
Liverpool have overtaken Newcastle as the team that have the most FPL points in the goalkeeper position, with Brentford just behind.
Keylor Navas (£4.5m) will be starting for me this week, with the plan being to Bench Boost in 29. Looking at the fixtures, schedules are pretty mixed.
Keep Arrizabalaga (£4.7m) has a decent run and a double in 29, if you don&#8217;t have him.

Southampton are conceding the most FPL points to opposition defenders, with Bournemouth, Palace and Wolves just behind.
West Ham are the fifth team making up the 5 conceding the most FPL Points to opposition defenders.
Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle, Man City and Liverpool are the teams with defenders scoring the most FPL points.
I can&#8217;t see myself making a Defender move this week, as I have 4 with games and Estupinan has a double in 29. There are concerns about when he will be back from international duty, but I&#8217;ll deal with that if I need to closer to the time.

<h3>Midfielders</h3>

Southampton are now conceding the most FPL points to opposition midfielders, overtaking Everton. Bournemouth, Forest and Leicester make up the five.
Ideally, I want midfielders facing these teams.
The teams who have the highest-scoring midfield units are Brighton, City, Newcastle, Arsenal and United.
I can&#8217;t see me making a move in midfield this week, but Aston Villa has favourable fixtures.
However, none of their Midfielders appeal to me at the moment.

Fulham and Bournemouth are the two teams conceding the most FPL points to opposition forwards.
United, Everton and Leicester are the other sides making up the most obliging teams.
City, Brentford, Spurs, Liverpool and Forest are the teams with forwards scoring the most FPL points.
Again, Aston Villa have decent fixtures at this position. Ollie Watkins (£7.4m) is on the radar for me.

I look at this table to target specific fixtures and to see how teams are performing at home and away.
For my transfer targets and captaincy in any given week, I&#8217;ll be looking at how their opponents perform either at home or away.
This table is particularly useful in double gameweeks as you can drill down into the individual data for particular fixtures.

I have one free transfer and £2m in the bank.
The Hub&#8217;s <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/my-team">My Team Recommended Transfer</a> feature suggests I sell Haaland for Kelechi Iheanacho (£6.1m). I actually prefer Watkins, so may go here. I could just roll, to ensure I have 2 free transfers during the international break as well!

As it stands, Kane is set to be my captain, with my vice-captain probably on an Arsenal midfielder. However, if I bring in Ollie Watkins, I could be tempted by a punt there.
