<h2>Gameweek 3 review</h2>
<p>It was a weird week in the world of FPL this week.</p>
<p>The team looked in great shape, but a 44 point gameweek and a gameweek rank of around 6m left lots to be desired.</p>
<p>The back five combined for a total of three points, despite having premium defenders such as <strong>Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m), Andrew Robertson (£6.9m), Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) </strong>and <strong>Reece James (£6.1m).</strong></p>
<p>Starting <strong>Neco Williams (£4.1m) </strong>over <strong>Andreas Pereira (£4.5m) </strong>was a mistake in hindsight, with Forest conceding late on and Pereira getting an eight-point return.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m happy to have both players in the squad going forward though.</p>
<p><strong>Ivan Toney (£7.2m) </strong>however, has been an incredible differential for us.</p>
<p>Taking a punt on him from Gameweek 1 has paid off, as he is the joint-second-highest scoring player in FPL so far.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re now 41 points off the top 10k, ranked at 1.6m. I&#8217;m pretty relaxed about this though, as we&#8217;re only three weeks into the season.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m currently down in Cornwall on holiday but I&#8217;ve bought the laptop with me to ensure all the data gets recorded and I can get the article out in time.</p>

<h2>The data</h2>
<p>As per last season, the data has been added to the database but with only three weeks down, there isn&#8217;t much of a learning we can take from it right now.</p>
<p>So the data won&#8217;t be displayed until next week, with the plan as it stands to <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-wildcard-and-when-to-use-it">Wildcard</a> ahead of Gameweek 9, after eight full weeks of information.</p>
<h2>Transfers</h2>
<p>We&#8217;ve moved already due to worries about price changes in what is currently a very volatile market.</p>
<p>With £0 in the bank, we&#8217;ve had to use both transfers to do anything meaningful and correct a weakness within the squad.</p>
<p><strong>Daniel Iversen (£4m) </strong>has become <strong>Robert Sanchez (£4.5m)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Leon Bailey (£4.9m) </strong>has become <strong>Harry Arter (£4.4m)</strong></p>
<p>Sanchez and Brighton have made a great start, and with Leicester in disarray, it made sense to upgrade the weakest position in the team whilst we have no other major fires.</p>
<p>The Liverpool double defence is on thin ice but the assumption is that they will turn everything around sharpish.</p>
<p>It is concerning to see though, having watched all three of their games.</p>
<h2>Captaincy</h2>
<p>Captaincy this week is on <strong>Mohamed Salah (£13.0m). </strong></p>
<p>Whilst the Reds have been poor so far this season as I mentioned above, you would like to think they should be able to win comfortably at home to a newly promoted side.</p>
