<h2>Gameweek 5 review</h2>
<p>A good week in FPL this week.</p>
<p>A 87 point gameweek and a gameweek rank of around 205k (prior to the Thursday night game) has gained a big green arrow so far, but with the spread of points between ranks so close we can relax on that front for now.</p>
<p><strong>Erling Haaland (£11.9m)</strong> hit his second 17 pointer in five days, except this time we captained him to get a lovely 34-pointer.</p>
<p><strong>Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) </strong>and new signing <strong>Ruben Dias (£6.0m) </strong>combined for another 18 points, with Cancelo grabbing his first goal of the season. A welcome return, as he&#8217;s been poor in terms of his underlying numbers compared with last season.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Andrew Robertson (£6.8m)</strong> was subbed again and <strong>Mohamed Salah (£13m) </strong>grabbed a fortuitous 10 pointer.</p>
<p>Robertson is on thin ice now.</p>
<p><strong>Pedro Neto (£5.2m) </strong>is now a dead asset for the team and I will be looking at moving him on.</p>

<p>Due to the tight turnaround this week and the gameweek not being finished, I won&#8217;t upload the screenshots this week.</p>
<p>If I use them in any decision making, I will refer to specific parts to ensure the decision making process is understood.</p>
<h2>Transfers</h2>
<p>This week, much like last week I have one transfer and no money in the bank.</p>
<p>My inclination is always to roll a transfer if I can, and I could have done that with <strong>Reece James (£6.1m) </strong>but I spotted an opportunity to get off of a dodgy defence and also the fact we had news he&#8217;d miss the game.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll likely want him back soon but we now also have Neto as someone we want to lose.</p>
<p>To do anything worthwhile would probably need a points hit, so I&#8217;m tempted to bench Neto and play <strong>Neco Williams (£4.1m) </strong>in a 5-2-3 formation and roll the transfer.</p>
<p>As mentioned above, Robertson is on thin ice, but I won&#8217;t sell him before a derby game.</p>
<h2>Captaincy</h2>
<p>Captaincy this week is between<strong> Salah </strong>and <strong>Haaland</strong> (as always).</p>
<p>Salah got a brace of assists and two bonus points against Newcastle, whilst Haaland got another hat-trick and maximum bonus points.</p>
<p>Haaland&#8217;s minutes are a slight concern though, especially as he started against Nottingham Forest.</p>
<p>Looking at Hub&#8217;s <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Points Prediction tool</a>, Salah smashes him this week, basically due to a risk of minutes.</p>
<p>Salah is predicted 8.2 and Haaland is down on five points at time of writing.</p>
<p><strong>Harry Kane (£11.4m) </strong>is actually the man leading the way this week, predicted to score around 8.3 points.</p>
<p>This decision will go down to the wire as I&#8217;ll want as much information as possible to make this decision.</p>
