<h2>Gameweek 1 review</h2>
<p>We started with a decent week &#8211; 63 points. We are left licking our wounds however, as a late change to <strong>Harry Kane (£11.4m)</strong> from <strong>Erling Haaland (£11.6m) </strong>has cost us 11 points.</p>
<p>Not irretrievable by any stretch but an early blow.</p>

<p><strong>Reece James (£6.0m), Joao Cancelo (£7.0m), Gabriel Martinelli (£6.1m), Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) and Ivan Toney (£7.0m) </strong>all returned though, so plenty of reasons to be optimistic.</p>
<h2>The data</h2>
<p>As per last season, the data has been added to the database but with only one week down, there isn&#8217;t much of a learning we can take from it right now.</p>
<p>So the data won&#8217;t be displayed until Gameweek 4, with the plan as it stands to <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-wildcard-and-when-to-use-it">Wildcard</a> ahead of Gameweek 9, after eight full weeks of information.</p>
<h2>Transfers</h2>
<p>We moved early this week and were fortunate to do so. Kane has already become Haaland.</p>
<p>The original plan, as always, was to roll the transfer in Gameweek 2. But rather than be stubborn, I&#8217;ve accepted a mistake was made and I&#8217;ve corrected it.</p>
<h2>Captaincy</h2>
<p>Captaincy this week is between Haaland and<strong> </strong>Salah. Both players are at home with great fixtures.</p>
<p>Last season, Liverpool&#8217;s midfield unit scored an average of 33.9 FPL points per game at home, the most in the league.</p>
<p>You&#8217;d back Salah to continue to help that trend.</p>
<p>Haaland has got off to a flying start for Manchester City and with newly promoted Bournemouth coming to town, he could feast here.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s another coin flip of a decision.</p>
<p>Looking at the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Hub Points Prediction Tool</a>, Haaland (at the time of writing) is projected to outscore Salah by around two points, so we may decide to trust the model on this occasion.</p>
