<p>Brentford's number one takes centre stage in Gameweek 27 for the Bees' away double against Southampton and Everton.</p>
<p>Chasing a place in Europe, Thomas Frank's side face two of the league's strugglers - and it's clear the algorithm fancies them for both attacking and defensive returns.</p>
<p>Newcastle have just the one fixture this week, however they double in Gameweek 29.</p>
<p>While Raya and Brentford do too, this combination could be particularly useful if playing the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fpl-bench-boost-and-when-to-use-it">Bench Boost</a> in Gameweek 29.</p>
<p>As it stands, Pope should be played in Gameweek 28, with his predicted points higher than Raya's.</p>

<p>Brentford, Newcastle and Chelsea make up the entirety of the Gameweek 27 Wildcard back line.</p>
<p>It's a Newcastle defensive triple up, with Pope joined by Trippier and Botman.</p>
<p>Trippier is the game's highest-scoring defender to date, his 147 points 37 ahead of his nearest challenger in <strong>Ben White</strong>.</p>
<p>The Hub's algorithm predicts the full-back to be the best defender over the next five gameweeks, slightly ahead of James, presuming he is fit again.</p>
<p>Chilwell and Henry make up the rest of the top four, with value pick Botman not far behind.</p>
<p>Chelsea join Brentford and Newcastle in having a double in Gameweek 29 - they play Leicester and Everton before then, with their two fixtures in 29 against Liverpool and Aston Villa.</p>
