<h2><strong>Best FPL captain for Gameweek 32: The candidates</strong></h2>
<p>I've drafted this prior to the conclusion of the gameweek.</p>
<p>It’s tricky this week. Nobody likes to back someone in the early kick-off and City looked fluid without <strong>Erling Haaland (£14.3m)</strong>. <strong>Bukayo Saka (£9.1m)</strong> didn’t even feature in the squad against Luton. Is it time to put the faith in <strong>Cole Palmer (£5.8m)</strong>?</p>

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Best FPL captain for Gameweek 32: Players' records</h2>
<p><strong>Haaland - </strong>Scored a hat-trick against Palace at home last season.</p>
<p><strong>Palmer - </strong>Notched 14 points in the reverse fixture and he tends to be a flat-track bully, with several hauls against the weaker sides.</p>
<p><strong>Solanke - </strong>Scored in the reverse fixture recently and scored in the game that was abandoned.</p>
<p><strong>Saka - </strong>Blanked the last two against Brighton but we saw how many opportunities Salah got on the same side - and he did score the last time he played them away.</p>
<p><strong>Son - </strong>Scored the last time he played against Forest at home, albeit with a different manager for both sides.</p>
<p><strong>Salah</strong> <strong>-</strong> Has started against Manchester United 12 times, scored 10 and recorded four assists (117%). He blanked the reverse fixture but has scored in the last three away games, including a hat-trick in the 2021/22 season.</p>
