<p>Egypt and Iran however are both capable of making things difficult, while New Zealand will hope to spring a surprise and compete for a place in the knockout rounds.</p>

<p>Belgium enter the tournament as the strongest side in Group G and should be targeting maximum points.</p>
<p>While the golden generation may be nearing their end, Belgium still possess plenty of attacking quality and should create numerous chances against New Zealand and Iran in particular.</p>
<p>Fantasy managers are likely to target Belgian attackers, particularly during the group stage.</p>

<h3>Top Belgium World Cup Fantasy picks</h3>

<p><strong>Kevin De Bruyne ($7.5m)</strong> remains central to almost everything Belgium create.</p>
<p>The Napoli playmaker will be the one pulling the strings still &#8211; and the fact he takes so many set-pieces means he is still a good fantasy option.</p>
<p>He was out for a while last season due to a hamstring injury but does now seem to be over that, so should be good to go for the World Cup.</p>
<p><strong>Jeremy Doku ($7.5m)</strong> is probably the most explosive option in the attack though.</p>
<p>His pace and dribbling ability make him a constant threat, particularly against weaker opposition. He had a fine season for Manchester City, especially at the tail end of the campaign, and ended with eight goals and 14 assists.</p>

<p><strong>Charles De Ketelaere ($5.6m)</strong> looks like he will be the one to get the nod up top but with <strong>Romelu Lukaku ($7.4m)</strong> currently injured.</p>
<p>Lukaku has been named in the Belgium squad despite his fitness issues, so he should feature at some point.</p>
<p><strong>Leandro Trossard ($6.6m)</strong>,<strong> Alexis Saelemaekers ($5.7m)</strong> and <strong>Dodi Lukebakio ($5.9m)</strong> will compete for a place on the right wing but the former could even play up top ahead of De Ketelaere.</p>

<p>Egypt will fancy their chances of qualifying from Group G and possess arguably the best individual fantasy asset in the group.</p>
<p>They are a disciplined and organised side but much of their attacking output revolves around Salah.</p>

<p>Salah had his worst season at club level, with seven goals and seven assists, but it may be too soon to write him off.</p>
<p>The Liverpool forward remains Egypt&#8217;s talisman, penalty taker and chief creator, who also dominates set-pieces. He has many routes to points and will be nailed to start.</p>
<p><strong>Omar Marmoush ($7.8m)</strong> has become an increasingly important figure for Egypt and offers a strong alternative route into their attack.</p>
<p>This could well be the tournament where he takes the mantle off Salah and he certainly possesses the talent to do so.</p>
<p>He hasn&#8217;t had much gametime for Manchester City of late but has 11 goals in 49 matches for his country.</p>
<p><strong>Ahmed Sayed Zizo ($4.3m)</strong> offers a budget route into the Egyptian attack.</p>
<p>He can score and assist &#8211; he has 92 goals and 49 assists over his career &#8211; but he doesnt offer the consistency and upside as the aforementioned two.</p>

<p>Iran continue to be one of Asia&#8217;s most consistent international sides and are capable of causing problems for both Egypt and Belgium.</p>
<p>They are typically well organised defensively and rely on an experienced attack to provide their cutting edge.</p>
<p>Preparations for the World Cup have been difficult though, with political tensions between Iran and host country the United States.</p>
<p>Despite playing all their group games in the States, they will have to stay in Mexico, so travel could be a factor that counts against them.</p>

<h3>Top Iran World Cup Fantasy picks</h3>

<p><strong>Mehdi Taremi ($6.1m)</strong> is Iran&#8217;s standout fantasy asset. The striker has been remarkably consistent for club and country and should lead the line once again.</p>
<p>He was the top scorer (10) and assister (seven) during their qualification campaign and is on set-pieces and penalties too.</p>
<p><strong>Saman Ghoddos ($4.9m)</strong> is an experienced midfielder who will no doubt be involved in a lot of Iran&#8217;s attacks.</p>
<p>The ex-Brentford man has goals and assists in his locker and will be one most likely to be creating Iran&#8217;s chances. He also takes set-pieces.</p>

<p><strong>Chris Wood ($6.5m)</strong> is the obvious standout pick. The Nottingham Forest striker remains New Zealand&#8217;s focal point and biggest goal threat, who is also on penalties.</p>

<p>His last season was curtailed with injury but he is now back fit. FPL managers will be well aware of how clinical he can be &#8211; in the 2024/25 season, he netted 20 league goals.</p>
<p><strong>Matt Garbett ($5.0m) </strong>and <strong>Sarpreet Singh ($5.3m)</strong> look the best options in midfield.</p>
