FPL Gameweek 30 concluded with a thrilling encounter between Liverpool and Arsenal, which ended in a 2-2 draw to put Manchester City back in the driving seat for the Premier League title.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 30: Salah and Toney missed chances cost owners</h2>
Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) had an Expected Points (xPts) total of 15.3 in Gameweek 30, the highest of any player, while Ivan Toney (£7.8m) was second on 11.8 points.
In reality, they returned five and four points respectively, in part due to the fact that both missed a penalty.
Salah also had the most shots of any player however, with his ten putting him ahead of Marcus Rashford (£7.2m) on seven.
All ten of Salah&#8217;s shots came from inside the box.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 30: Eagles flying under Hodgson</h2>
Three Crystal Palace players featured in the top 20 for Expected Goal Involvements this week, with Michael Olise (£5.4m) impressing in particular, picking up three assists for a 14 point haul.
Jordan Ayew (£5.2m) meanwhile scored a brace in Palace&#8217;s 5-1 demolition of Leeds United, returning the same number of FPL points as Olise in the process, with 14.

In fact, no player scored more than 14 FPL points in Gameweek 30, with Gabriel Martinelli (£6.6m) just behind the Palace duo on 13.
The Eagles had the most players featuring in the list of top point scorers for the gameweek too (4) with Roy Hodgson making a promising start in his second stint as Palace manager.

<h2>FPL Gameweek 30: United top for shots but Bruno blanks again</h2>
As far as teams were concerned, Manchester United were way out in front for shots in Gameweek 30.
Marcus Rashford managed an assist, while Bruno Fernandes (£9.6m) blanked once again.
For those who own the Portugal man however, it may be worth holding him. The impending return of Casemiro (£4.9m) and Christian Eriksen (£6.2m) to the Manchester United midfield should allow Bruno to play further forward.

In this section, we round up the leaders for the key <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta">Opta stats</a> metrics in Gameweek 30 &#8211; as well as rounding up the best of the rest of the FPL action.
Ollie Watkins (£7.6m) scored once again to continue his hot streak, with a last minute goal in a 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest.
The result meant a sixth clean sheet in seven games for Tyrone Mings (£4.5m) and the rest of Unai Emery&#8217;s defence.
Brighton&#8217;s unbeaten away run came to an end at Spurs, where Harry Kane (£11.7m) and Heung-min Son (£11.6m) scored in a 2-1 win, although Solly March (£5.2m) still managed a 7 pointer thanks to setting up Lewis Dunk (£4.7m) to score Brighton&#8217;s only goal of the game.
Meanwhile, Chelsea fell to a 1-0 defeat at Wolves, with Ben Chilwell (£6.0m) not making the starting XI under new manager Frank Lampard.

Erling Haaland (£12.2m) grabbed a brace for Manchester City &#8211; including a bicycle kick &#8211; in a 4-1 win at Southampton, rewarding those who gave him the captain&#8217;s armband.
Meanwhile Jack Grealish (£7.0m) and Kevin De Bruyne (£12.1m) also returned big scores for their owners, with 12 and 9 respectively.

Gabriel Martinelli was the Arsenal attacker to own once again with a goal and assist, utilising the space down Liverpool&#8217;s right hand side left by Trent Alexander Arnold (£7.2m) stepping into midfield.
There was certainly a positional change of sorts for the Liverpool full-back in this game, as he spent more time in midfield, and frequently popped up in the final third, picking up a late assist for Roberto Firmino (£8.0m) to head home and make it 2-2.
