<h3>Mo Salah or No Salah?</h3>
<p>Let's dive straight into the biggest internal debate I'm currently having – Mo Salah or No Salah?</p>
<p>Initially, I had crafted several drafts without <strong>Mohamed Salah (£12.5m)</strong>, but I can't help but lean towards squeezing him into my squad now. There are some compelling reasons behind including the Egyptian king.</p>
<p>Firstly, <strong>Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.0m)</strong> moving into midfield has significantly benefited Salah's performances. Since that change, Salah's expected goals (xG) per appearance has shot up from 0.49 to 0.63 - that's a massive jump in statistical terms.</p>
<p>It's not just Liverpool performing better as a team that has caused this shift; Salah has been able to drift more centrally and unleash his inner FPL beast.</p>

<p>Secondly, I believe the new World Cup style time-wasting rules will favour players who are guaranteed to play the full 90 minutes.</p>
<p>Salah typically stays on the pitch for the entire game, so I expect him to get more actual playing minutes (as opposed to minutes being wasted by the opposition).</p>
<p>Thirdly is the option to captain Salah for Gameweek 2. If Liverpool were up against a weaker team like Bournemouth in Gameweek 1, I believe Salah's ownership would likely be a lot higher.</p>

<p>The prospect of having him as a differential captain in the early stages of the season is simply too good to refuse, and could give me a massive boost over my mini-league rivals.</p>
<p>Although betting against <strong>Erling Haaland (£14.0m)</strong> is always risky, I'm confident in backing the Egyptian king over the Norwegian striker, who squares up against a stubborn Newcastle defence in Gameweek 2.</p>
