<p>World Cup Fantasy Matchday 3 begins tomorrow &#8211; but which teams should managers target for the final round of group games?</p>

<h2>World Cup Fantasy Matchday 3: Who&#8217;s out and who&#8217;s through?</h2>
<p>Hosts Qatar have already been sent packing after two successive defeats in group A to Ecuador and Senegal.</p>
<p>It was the earliest a World Cup host nation had ever been knocked out of the tournament.</p>
<p>They were joined on Sunday (November 27) by Canada, who played well for periods against both Belgium and Croatia but ultimately failed to secure a single point.</p>
<p>But elsewhere, no other nation had been mathematically eliminated, although the fate of the likes of Wales hangs by a thread.</p>
<p>At the other end of the scale, France&#8217;s two wins from two made them the first team to qualify for the last 16.</p>
<p>They play Tunisia in their final group game and may rotate their starting 11, given they are three points and +6 goal difference better than nearest rivals Australia.</p>
<p>Brazil and Portugal have also made it through to the round of 16, with both nations earning six points from a possible six.</p>
<h2>World Cup Fantasy Matchday 3 teams to target: The Netherlands</h2>
<p>Louis van Gaal&#8217;s men will make it to the round of 16 with a win or a draw in Matchday 3.</p>
<p>With four points from two games, they are not assured of top spot in Group A yet, so have something to play for.</p>
<p>They also face Qatar, who have shipped goals so far.</p>
<p>Talisman <strong>Memphis Depay </strong>got 45 minutes in the Dutch&#8217;s second game against Ecuador as he continues to build back to full fitness. He could be in line for his first start of the tournament.</p>
<p>Star man for the Oranje so far has been <strong>Cody Gakpo</strong>, who has two goals to his name.</p>

<h2>World Cup Fantasy Matchday 3 teams to target: England</h2>
<p>England are in a similar position to the Netherlands in that they will definitely qualify with a draw or a win, however they are not guaranteed top spot.</p>
<p>Looking to bounce back after a bland 0-0 draw against the USA, the Three Lions face Wales in Matchday 3, who have only a single point from their first two games.</p>
<p>Wales will be without their number-one goalkeeper <strong>Wayne Hennessey </strong>after he was <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/world-cup-fantasy-yellow-cards">sent off against Iran in Matchday 2</a>.</p>
<p>Star man <strong>Harry Kane </strong>has yet to find the back of the net so far, although he has registered two assists.</p>
<p>After an ankle scare in Matchday 1, it is possible manager Gareth Southgate rests the Tottenham Hotspur striker.</p>
<p>A strong side is still likely though as England seek to secure first place in group B.</p>

<h2>World Cup Fantasy Matchday 3 teams to target: Argentina</h2>
<p>Argentina bounced back from Matchday 1 defeat with victory against Mexico to keep their World Cup hopes alive.</p>
<p>One of the pre-tournament favourites, Argentina sit second in group C, one point behind Poland who they play in Matchday 3.</p>
<p>A full-strength side is therefore likely, with <strong>Lionel Messi </strong>having scored two goals so far.</p>

<h2>World Cup Fantasy Matchday 3 teams to target: Germany</h2>
<p>Germany&#8217;s 1-1 draw against Spain in Matchday ensured they could still qualify from group E.</p>
<p>They face Costa Rica in Matchday 3, who were drubbed 7-0 in their opener against Spain.</p>
<p>Costa Rica bounced back with a surprise 1-0 defeat of Japan, however their loss to Spain will give the Germans hope they can score heavily.</p>
<p>With just one goal in the tournament so far for the central American side, a German defensive asset alongside the likes of the lively <strong>Jamal Musiala </strong>or <strong>Leroy Sane</strong>, who returned from injury in Matchday 2, could be a good bet.</p>

<h2>World Cup Fantasy Matchday 3 teams to target: Spain</h2>
<p>Spain&#8217;s draw against Germany means qualification is yet to be rubber stamped for Matchday 1&#8217;s standout side.</p>
<p>Fantasy managers will therefore be hoping rotation is kept to a minimum and <strong>Jordi Alba, Dani Olmo </strong>and co. continue to be excellent fantasy options in Matchday 3.</p>

<p>Morocco impressed in their 2-0 defeat of Group F pre-tournament favourites Belgium.</p>
<p>The African team play eliminated Canada on Matchday 3, with a spot in the last 16 within reach.</p>
